We're thrilled to share a milestone moment in SeCDA Special School's 25-year journey!
For the first time in our history, we organized a 3-hour interactive workshop titled "Stand with the Differently-abled" - specifically designed for school prefects. Yesterday (16.10.2025), we welcomed the prefects of Pallipporuwa Maha Vidyalaya to our school auditorium for this groundbreaking initiative, marking a new chapter in our commitment to fostering inclusion and awareness.
The workshop brought together young leaders to,
1. Develop leadership skills and strengthen their personalities.
2. Engage in meaningful interactions with our special needs children.
3. Gain deeper understanding and recognition of differently-abled individuals.
This collaborative effort was spearheaded by our new Principal, Mr. Kamil Sufiyan (Diploma in Psychological Counseling - NISD, MDCC - India, NDTHRD - R, Motivational Speaker, Leadership & Spiritual Trainer), alongside our dedicated teaching staff, with the full support of our management committee.
What makes this even more special? This is just the beginning! With the positive response, we're planning to gradually extend this workshop to prefects from other schools in our area. Our vision is to create a ripple effect of understanding, acceptance, and inclusive values across our community.
Because every child deserves to be seen, valued, and celebrated. 💙

SeCDA விசேட பாடசாலையின் 25 ஆண்டுகாலப் பயணத்தில் ஒரு முக்கியமான தருணத்தைப் பகிர்ந்து கொள்வதில் நாங்கள் மகிழ்ச்சியடைகிறோம்!
எங்கள் வரலாற்றில் முதன்முறையாக, பாடசாலை மாணவத் தலைவர்களுக்கென வடிவமைக்கப்பட்ட "Stand with the Differently-abled" என்ற தலைப்பிலான 3 மணி நேர ஊடாடும் பயிற்சிப் பட்டறை ஒன்றினை ஏற்பாடு செய்திருந்தோம். நேற்று (16.10.2025) எங்கள் பாடசாலை கேட்போர் கூடத்தில் நடத்தப்பட்ட இப்புதிய முயற்சியில் பள்ளிப்போருவ மகா வித்யாலயத்தின் மாணவத் தலைவர்கள் கலந்து சிறப்பித்தனர்.
இந்நிகழ்வின் நோக்கங்களாவன,
1. தலைமைத்துவ திறன்களை வளர்த்து அவர்களின் ஆளுமைகளை வலுப்படுத்துதல்.
2. விசேட தேவையுள்ள மாணவர்களுடனான சமூகமயமாக்கல் திறன்களை மேம்படுத்துதல்.
3. மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகள் பற்றிய ஆழமான புரிதலையும் அங்கீகாரத்தையும் பெறுதல்.
இந்நிகழ்வு ஆசிரியர் குழாமின் உதவியுடனும், நிர்வாகக் குழுவின் முழு ஆதரவுடனும், எமது புதிய அதிபர் திரு. காமில் சுஃபியான் (Diploma in Psychological Counseling - NISD, MDCC - India, NDTHRD - R, Motivational Speaker, Leadership & Spiritual Trainer) அவர்களால் ஒழுங்குபடுத்தப்பட்டது. எதிர்வரும் காலங்களில் எங்கள் பகுதியில் உள்ள பிற பாடசாலைகளுடன் இணைந்து இதே போன்ற விழிப்புணர்வு நிகழ்வுகளை நடத்த திட்டமிட்டுள்ளோம்.

SeCDA විශේෂ පාසලේ වසර 25ක ගමනේ වැදගත් මොහොතක් බෙදා ගැනීමට ලැබීම ගැන අපි සතුටු වන්නෙමු!
අපගේ ඉතිහාසයේ ප්රථම වතාවට, පාසල් ශිෂ්ය නායකයින් සඳහා විශේෂයෙන් නිර්මාණය කරන ලද "Stand with the Differently-abled" යන මාතෘකාව යටතේ පැය 3 ක වැඩමුළුවක් අපි සංවිධානය කළෙමු. ඊයේ (2025.10.16) පල්ලිප්පෝරුව මහා විද්යාලයේ ශිෂ්ය නායකයින් අපගේ පාසල් ශ්රවණාගාරයේදී පැවති මෙම වැඩසටහනට සහභාගී වූහ.
මෙම උත්සවයේ අරමුණු වූයේ,
1. නායකත්ව කුසලතා වර්ධනය කිරීම සහ ඔවුන්ගේ පෞරුෂයන් ශක්තිමත් කිරීම.
2. විශේෂ අවශ්යතා ඇති දරුවන් සමඟ සමාජගත කිරීමේ කුසලතා වැඩි දියුණු කිරීම.
3. විශේෂ අවශ්යතා ඇති පුද්ගලයින් පිළිබඳ ගැඹුරු අවබෝධයක් සහ පිළිගැනීමක් ලබා ගැනීම.
මෙම උත්සවය අපගේ නව විදුහල්පති කාමිල් සුෆියාන් (Diploma in Psychological Counseling - NISD, MDCC - India, NDTHRD - R, Motivational Speaker, Leadership & Spiritual Trainer) මහතා විසින්, ගුරුවරුන්ගේ සහාය සහ කළමනාකරණ කමිටුවේ පූර්ණ සහයෝගය ඇතිව සංවිධානය කරන ලදී. අනාගතයේදී අපගේ ප්රදේශයේ අනෙකුත් පාසල් සමඟ සහයෝගයෙන් මෙවැනිම දැනුවත් කිරීමේ සිදුවීම් පැවැත්වීමට අපි සැලසුම් කර ඇත්තෙමු.
