Meet Arshad Ameer , co-founder of Flash Health - the entrepreneur behind a solution that’s transforming how Sri Lanka accesses medicine.
Recognising the long-standing challenges of medicine availability, delivery delays, and fragmented healthcare services, Arshad helped build Flash Health, a nationwide health app designed to bridge critical gaps in access. By combining technology with a strong healthcare network, the platform operates on a centralized supply chain model, delivering medications within 2 hours via express delivery, while also offering online doctor consultations through in-house physicians and home lab testing services through a single, integrated app (Uber of healthcare).
Having previously contributed to building South Asia’s largest digital healthcare platform in Bangladesh, Arshad returned to Sri Lanka with a vision to apply that international expertise locally to strengthen access, efficiency, and innovation across the Sri Lanka’s healthcare ecosystem.
What began as a response to a pressing public need has evolved into a scalable digital health solution, one that is redefining convenience, reliability, and equity in Sri Lanka’s healthcare ecosystem.
