On 21 November 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed Dr. Olushayo Olu, the newly appointed World Health Organization representative in Liberia, as he presented his Letters of Credence to H.E. Mme. Sara Beysolow Nyanti, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The ceremony marks the official start of Dr. Olu's tour of duty in Liberia.
Minister Nyanti commended WHO as Liberia's traditional partner and emphasized the importance of continued collaboration to address public health challenges and emerging threats.
Together, the WHO and the Government of Liberia renew their pledge to advance quality Healthcare for all Liberians.
