In partnership with AFENET Liberia, the Liberia Field Epidemiology Training Program (LFETP) has successfully completed its Executive FETP Cohort 4. This cohort targeted medical doctors from the County Health Teams of Liberia with the aim of improving the application of epidemiology within the national health system, including the enhancement of leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills that are crucial in the surveillance of diseases.
The training program of the Executive FETP Cohort 4 targeted Surveillance Problem Analysis and Surveillance Data Analysis, using real-world data from diverse public health settings. This training tackles challenges that affect surveillance, epidemiological trends, and evidence-based recommendations. This program is supported by the US-CDC with the aim of improving the epidemiological workforce of Liberia.
