1. Sales Executive (2 Positions)
Location: Maseru, Lesotho
Department: Business Development
Key Responsibilities
•Promote and sell Vitality Health medical aid products to individuals, corporate clients, and groups.
•Identify and develop new business opportunities.
•Conduct marketing campaigns, product presentations, and client visits.
•Maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and intermediaries.
•Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
•Ensure proper completion and submission of membership applications.
Minimum Requirements
•Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Insurance, or related field will be an added advantage.
•Minimum 2 years sales experience, preferably in insurance, medical aid, or financial services.
•Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
•Self-motivated with the ability to meet sales targets.
Mandatory Requirements
•Valid driver’s license.
•Willingness to travel extensively within Lesotho and outside the country.
2. Job Title: Business Development Manager
Role Purpose
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and establishing strategic partnerships across all Vitality Health business units, including:
•Medical Aid (Bophelosheleng Medical Aid)
•Vitality Health Clinics
•Pharmacy Operations
•Emergency Medical Services (Ambulance, Air Evacuation & Rescue)
•Occupational Health Services
The role requires a commercially driven professional with strong relationship management capabilities and a deep understanding of healthcare financing and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Growth & Sales
•Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue targets
•Drive membership growth for medical aid schemes
•Identify and secure new corporate clients and group schemes
•Lead proposal development, pricing, and negotiations
2. Strategic Partnerships
•Establish and manage partnerships with healthcare providers, corporates, brokers, and government institutions
•Negotiate and manage Designated Service Provider (DSP) agreements
•Collaborate with internal units to create bundled healthcare solutions
3. Market Development
•Conduct market research and competitor analysis
•Identify new product opportunities and underserved segments
•Lead market awareness campaigns and stakeholder engagement initiatives
4. Cross-Business Integration
•Support growth across clinics, pharmacies, EMS, and occupational health services
•Drive integrated healthcare solutions for clients
•Promote value-based care and cost-containment initiatives
5. Performance Management
•Track and report on sales performance, pipeline, and conversion rates
•Develop and monitor KPIs aligned to strategic objectives
•Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Minimum Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, or related field
•Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles
•Experience in healthcare, insurance, or financial services is highly preferred
•Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets
•Strong negotiation, networking, and stakeholder management skills
