Bidding Farewell to a Faithful Servant 🌿

Even as the rain poured relentlessly, we gathered with full hearts to bid farewell to our beloved Mme ’Mateboho, who has faithfully served Beautiful Gate Lesotho for 19 remarkable years.
The storm outside could not dampen our spirits. Dressed in our finest traditional wear and beautiful outfits, we came together to celebrate a life of dedication, love, and service. Moments like these are always bittersweet—there is the sadness of saying goodbye, yet deep joy in honouring a journey so well lived.
Mme ’Mateboho, words will never be enough to express our gratitude. You have left footprints of kindness, commitment, and grace that will remain part of our story forever. The memories we have shared will continue to inspire us for years to come.
As you step into this new season of life, we pray that God’s abundant blessings go before you, surround you, and follow you always.

At Beautiful Gate Lesotho, we believe early childhood development is a powerful pathway to healing—especially for children who have experienced trauma. Creating safe, nurturing learning environments helps restore confidence, spark joy, and rebuild a sense of stability.
Our recent workshop with the Higher Life Foundation was a truly transformative experience. It deepened our understanding of how to effectively nurture early literacy—not just by teaching children to recite letters, but by building phonetic awareness, confidence, and a genuine love for storytelling.
The books generously provided are more than resources—they are bridges between theory and practice. 📖✨
With their engaging content and structured approach, they will:

• Encourage consistent practice
• Support children in becoming fluent, independent readers and writers

This week marked a very special milestone for our BGL children. Some stepped into preschool for the very first time, while others proudly began their journey in primary school.
From carefully holding new school books to wearing new uniforms with confidence, the excitement was unmistakable. These first days are more than just lessons in the classroom - they are steps toward hope, growth, and a brighter future. 🌈🌈
