Peer Educators Lead Life Skills Programme in Mjanyane and Qomoqomong

TAIYO is proud to share that CED as a Peer Educator successfully led a Life Skills Programme at Mjanyane Council and Qomoqomong Council from 15th - 20th November 2025

This initiative was conducted alongside the Ministry of Gender, Youth and Social Development, in partnership and with support from UNICEF.

The programme focused on empowering young people with essential life skills, strengthening their decision-making abilities, building confidence, and promoting positive youth development within their communities.

We appreciate the collaboration from all partners and the active participation of the young people who continue to inspire change.

TAIYO at the Opening of DCEO South Regional Office – Mohale’s Hoek

TAIYO is honoured to have participated as a member of the District Anti-Corruption Committee in the official opening of the DCEO South Regional Office in Mohale’s Hoek.
The office will serve the 4 southern Lesotho district Lesotho ( Mafeteng, Mohaleshoek, Quthing and Qacha'snek)

This milestone strengthens our collective fight against corruption and reinforces the importance of transparency, accountability, and good governance within our communities.

We remain committed to working with DCEO and other stakeholders to promote integrity, empower young people, and build a corruption-free Lesotho.

TAIYO Participation in the ECHO Programme Implementation – November 2025

TAIYO is honoured to have participated in the ECHO Programme Implementation held from 10–14 November 2025 Quthing

The week-long activities focused on strengthening community protection systems through capacity building, coordination, and multi-sectoral collaboration. Key engagements included:

πŸ“Œ Day 1: Capacity Building on MHPSS and Positive Parenting with caregivers, Police, VHWs, ASWs, Chiefs, Councillors, and Teachers
πŸ“Œ Day 3: Dialogue and demonstration of referral pathways led by DCPT with Home Affairs, Police, Prosecution, Teachers, and CSOs
πŸ“Œ Day 4: Formation of Parenting Groups with caregivers, Nutrition Clubs, and Support Groups at Ha sikare Lower Moyeni
πŸ“Œ Day 5: Debriefing session with DCPT, DA, and DCS

We appreciate the collaborative spirit from all partners and community stakeholders. Special thanks to UNICEF for facilitating key logistics, including gazebos and PA systems during demonstrations.
