Today we commemorate "World Day of the Sick – 11 February".

Inspired by the parable of the "Good Samaritan", this day reminds us that love is never distant or passive. It calls us to "see, to stop, and to act"for those who are ill, frail, or lonely. We are invited to become true neighbours by offering compassion, dignity, and hope through our presence and service.

As we reflect, we honour:
🤍 our patients and families carrying the burden of illness
🤍 the dedicated health workers and caregivers who accompany them
🤍 our communities that continue to show solidarity and mercy

May we always recognise the person within the patient and be instruments of healing through kindness, respect, and genuine care.

Capacity Building for Effective Leadership

Paray Mission Hospital and Paray School of Nursing recently conducted a training session for managers on the proper conduct of disciplinary hearings in cases of misconduct.

The training focused on:
✔️ Fair and lawful disciplinary procedures
✔️ Roles and responsibilities of managers
✔️ Ensuring consistency, transparency, and due process

This initiative strengthens good governance, promotes fairness in the workplace, and ensures compliance with labour standards.
