Fatigue is physical, but also emotional, energetic, and spiritual.
Did you know that not all fatigue is the same?
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, there are 5 kinds of fatigue, each linked to a different organ and emotion 🪷
1. Excessive use of the eyes affects the blood and heart (mental overwork)
2. Too much physical exercise injures the tendons and liver (physical overwork)
3. Sitting for too long injures the flesh and spleen (lack of exercise, improper diet)
4. Lying for too long injures the Qi and lungs (excessive sleep, inactivity)
5. Standing for too long injures the bones and kidneys (standing for too long, carrying heavy loads)
When we understand the roots of our exhaustion, we can begin to re-align with our natural rhythms, restore our energy, and heal from the inside out 🌿
