Look of the day: washed hair, no makeup and a coat my husband can’t stand. Today’s biggest win? I actually washed my hair…Honestly that alone deserves an award! This Look of the day is nothing fancy, no makeup, no glam, just me showing up and surviving another day of motherhood. Some days it’s not about looking put together, it’s about showing up anyway. Motherhood is messy, exhausting & sometimes it’s just survival. I’m keeping it raw & real here. I’m learning to love me exactly the way I am without a filter, because that’s what life really is. To every woman learning to love yourself exactly as you are, you’ve got this & you are beautiful without a filter 🫶🏻

You haven’t eaten in over 24 hours.
You’ve just had surgery. You’re breastfeeding. You’re trying to heal.

And this, a piece of bread, a bit of butter and jam, is the first meal they give you to begin your recovery.
My roommate gave me her yogurt because she had a spare. Otherwise, this was it… the only actual thing with nutritional value wasn’t part of the meal!

This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this. After giving birth it was the same story, minimal, undernourishing meals offered to a body that just did the most extraordinary, exhausting thing imaginable.

We talk about postpartum care, post-op recovery, nourishment… but how can healing truly begin when the basics are missing?
Our bodies deserve more than the bare minimum. They deserve warmth, real nutrition, care & respect.

This isn’t about blaming individuals, it’s about changing the narrative.
About reimagining how we support souls through recovery.
After all healing deserves better than this.

Let’s talk about it. Let’s work towards better support.
Because nourishment is not a luxury, it’s the foundation of recovery. 💛

Postpartum. Post-op, illness, fatigue,…
There’s no pause button for mums.
Your body is still healing but the world keeps giving you more and more impossibles that you somehow manage to make possible.
Time doesn’t slow down for anyone, it just keeps moving & you move along with it, not because you’re ready but because you have to be.
You keep showing up sore, tired and still healing because that’s the reality of life as a mum.

This past few years have been full of lessons. From infertility, loss, pregnancy, to postpartum, flare days & now urgent surgery.
I’m beginning to see how it’s all connected… the slowing down, the surrender, the strength it takes to heal.
What I’m learning for myself, I hope will help others walking similar paths too.

Because preparation = peace of mind 💛

I honestly didn’t expect to be packing a hospital bag again so soon and definitely not for emergency surgery around the exact same time as we lost baby J two years ago 🌟. As an endo mama that is still breastfeeding little rainbow 🌈 , moments like this can feel really overwhelming. There’s that mix of fear, exhaustion & the deep need to stay grounded somehow 🌙

So this time, I focused on one thing: comfort + calm.
Every single thing I’ve packed is meant to make me feel safe, cozy and cared for.

Soft socks, my favourite robe, gentle skincare, little snacks and my Momcozy breast pump, because yes, we still have to think about milk supply, even in the middle of all this 🍼 (and mamas, remember to pump & dump the first milk after surgery to stay safe 💕).

I also made sure to bring my Ringana favourites 🫶🏻 clean, fresh products that make me feel like me again, even when everything else feels a little out of control. A small act of self-care for after surgery which means so much when you’re healing 💫

If you’re going through something similar, I see you. You’re doing your best 🤍
If you want to try any of my Ringana essentials, just send me a message. I’m always happy to share what’s helped me the most.
And if you’re curious about Myobi, you can use the code „Naturalsouls“ for a little discount, if you would like to try your own.

Follow for more in the life of an endo mama, moments of empowerment & wellbeing no matter where you are in life ✨
From me to you because I believe we heal stronger when we do it together 💛

Not all struggles are visible, but their impact is real.
Too often, employees with invisible illness/disabilities are misunderstood, judged, or even lose their jobs because their challenges aren’t seen or believed.

Let’s build workplaces where compassion leads, not assumptions.
Ask before you judge. Listen before you dismiss. Support before it’s too late.

Inclusion means seeing beyond what meets the eye. 🌻

1 in 6 people globally, over 1.3 billion individuals, live with a disability.
💭 Am estimated 80% of these disabilities are invisible.

Invisible disabilities include chronic illnesses, mental health conditions, neurodivergence, autoimmune diseases, pain disorders, and fatigue syndromes.
They might not be visible, but they’re real and life-shaping. 💙

Too often, people with invisible disabilities face stigma, judgment, and misunderstanding, which can lead to anxiety, depression, and isolation.

✨ Awareness, compassion, and accessibility create inclusion.
Not all disabilities are seen, but all deserve respect, empathy, and support.

Let’s build a world that believes people when they say they’re struggling, even if you can’t see it. 🌈

How I am currently preparing for surgery… this is for an urgent bilateral cystectomy due to Stage 4 Endometriosis & two big endometriomas that are stuck to organs & are compressing my urethra which is silently damaging my kidneys… but honestly I would prepare for any kind of surgery in this way.

Invisible Disabilities Awareness Week 🌻
📅 October 19 to 25, 2025

Living with an invisible disability means facing challenges the world doesn’t always see. Pain, fatigue, anxiety, grief, pressure and the constant need to explain & to justify. It means showing up even though you are hurting on the inside & people constantly telling you “You look fine.”

This week is about awareness, empathy and understanding that what is unseen is still real. Let’s share our stories, lift each other up and remind ourselves that we are valid, strong, and never alone. 🫶🏻

This cause is deeply personal to me. I am a ruptured ectopic pregnancy survivor. It was one of the scariest and most heartbreaking experiences of my life. I survived despite complications, but I lost my baby without any way to save them. The last memory I have was their tiny heartbeat and a little wave of their tiny hand on the screen. An image I am so grateful to have seen & will remember forever.

Since then, I have carried both gratitude and grief in my heart. It is why I speak up today, to raise awareness about ectopic pregnancy and the silent pain that follows. Too many people do not realise how dangerous it can be, or how lonely the healing feels.

If you have been through this too, please know you are not alone. Your feelings are valid, your loss matters and your baby will always be remembered.

Tonight I light my candle for my little one and for every parent who carries this kind of love and loss. 💗💙

Some families find comfort in talking about their babies, hearing their names or knowing others are thinking of them. Others hold that love quietly in their hearts & prefer to process it privately! Whichever way works best for the family, it deserves understanding, compassion, time & respect 🤍

For anyone that would like to share, I would like to hold a space for you here & honour your baby with you 🤍If you’d like to take part, you can share a name ( if you have a name) an initial, a nickname, a date, a 🌟 star, a 🤍 white heart, or any symbol that feels right for you.

Together, we remember every little soul & every family with love and compassion.
