Plateful Nutrition

Plateful Nutrition Holistic Nutrition refers to supporting your body, mind and spirit. Changing the way we eat can change the way we look, feel and think. I was often moody.

If you want to improve your diet, lifestyle and nutritional intake you’re at the right place. Welcome to Plateful Nutrition! My name is Vesela Savova and I am a certified Diet & Nutrition Advisor, living in Luxembourg. My interest in health and food began over 5 years ago, when I started paying closer attention to what I eat and to my general health. Eating mindfully, and increasing my knowledge a

bout the food I eat and how it directly impacts my health and wellbeing has truly transformed my life for the better. There were certain foods on my menu that did not do me any good and left me feeling tired and sluggish. I was struggling with skin issues, bloating and fatigue. My digestion was far from great. It was all due to the food I was consuming. Once I changed the way I ate I instantly noticed great improvements. My digestion became much better. I was no longer bloated and tired after every meal. My skin problems “magically” disappeared. And I suddenly found myself feeling more energized, and in a better mood than ever before! The change in my diet has enriched my life on so many levels! Bad food choices can impact our physical health and contribute to weight gain and health issues. But it also plays a major role to our mental health as well. Certain emotions and general energy levels can be traced back to the foods we eat. Think about it this way – the food we eat can either nourish our cells, and provide pure energy to our body and mind, or it can lead to depletion and put a strain on our body, physical and mental health. Do you want to be the healthiest version of yourself, and eat food that makes you feel great? Do you want to have more energy, improved mood and digestion? As we work together, we will discover the types of foods you need to increase in your menu, and as you lovingly nourish your body from the inside, soon the results will become visible on the outside too. As you start eating right for your body, you will blossom into the best version of yourself! It is not a quick fix or a fad diet. I am offering a coaching program that will help you start a healthier lifestyle you will learn to love! It is the small things we do everyday that bring big results in the future. This is also my philosophy towards health and diet. Find out more on how I can help you here. I am constantly expanding my knowledge about nutrition through participation in workshops, seminars and reading the latest studies and research on food and nutrition. My favourite books are all about nutrition, health and food recipes. As a new mom, my interest has further expanded into child nutrition, and I have completed a certification course in Child Nutrition and Cooking from Stanford University. I have also completed a certification course on the Human Gut and Microbiome with the University of Colorado Boulder. Visit my blog if you are interested in tasty whole food recipes, diet and nutrition topics and general tips to a healthier lifestyle through nutrition. I also provide a particular insight into how you can achieve a healthier lifestyle in Luxembourg. Love,

Vesela

For many years I believed my emotional intensity was simply part of my nature.

I was someone who felt things deeply and responded quickly to the world around me. My environment seemed to shape my mood more than I would have liked, and I assumed this was simply temperament.. something fixed in the fabric of who I was.

Then, about fourteen years ago, I began to change the way I ate.

I was hoping for improvements in my physical health, but what I noticed first was something far more surprising. Gradually, my inner landscape began to feel different. My moods settled, my reactions softened, and my thinking carried a steadiness that had not always been there before.

It was one of the first moments that made me realise how profoundly nourishment shapes the way we experience the world. Blood sugar, it turns out, does not only influence our energy levels. It plays a subtle but important role in our clarity of thought, our emotional resilience, and even the quality of the decisions we make throughout the day.

Tomorrow I’m sharing a deeper exploration of this on Substack, a piece about the overlooked relationship between blood sugar, mental clarity and emotional steadiness. I’ll also be including a masterclass and a practical meal plan for supporting balanced blood sugar in everyday life.

If this is something you’ve been curious about, you’re very welcome to join me there. You can subscribe through the link in my bio so the piece arrives when it’s published tomorrow.

“Why are so many capable women completely exhausted?”

Because modern life removed something essential.

Rhythm.

Our days are fragmented.

School runs.
Emails.
Deadlines.
Dinner.
Laundry.
Notifications.

We move constantly… but without direction.

And fragmented energy feels like burnout.

Steady energy requires something different.

It requires architecture.

The full reflection is on my Substack.

Lately I’ve been missing longer forms of writing that allow a thought to unfold a little more slowly.
Something I’ve been noticing in my clients (and in my own life) is that when we feel exhausted or overwhelmed, our instinct is often to think: I just need to get my life together.
And for many of us that means trying to control things more by planning harder, tightening the grip.
The problem with control is that it creates more resistance. It leaves little room for life to unfold in the beautiful, unexpected ways that it does.
What we often need instead is more flow.
But flow without some structure can feel directionless too.
In my first Substack post I’m sharing the three pillars that I’ve found help create that middle ground, bringing more energy, clarity, and purpose into our lives.
If you enjoy deeper reflections like this and would like to be part of the community I’m building, you’re very welcome to join me there.

Most people approach performance from the outside in.
Better systems. Better strategies. Better time management.

But one of the most overlooked influences on how we think, decide and respond throughout the day is far more physiological.

Blood sugar plays a direct role in:

– cognitive clarity
– emotional steadiness
– focus and decision-making

And yet, it’s often disrupted by something as simple as inconsistent nourishment.

From a holistic nutrition perspective, sustainable energy isn’t built through extremes.

It’s built through small, consistent rhythms that support the body.

This is often where the most meaningful shifts begin.
