Dear Friends,
As November unfolds, we find ourselves standing at the doorstep between autumn and winter. The beautiful colours of the season begin to fade, and the air carries a quiet invitation to turn inward. It is a time to slow down, to reflect, and to tend to the inner light that sustains us through the darker days ahead.
In the midst of shifting rhythms—of work, weather, and the world around us—our yoga practice remains a constant refuge. Each time we step onto the mat, we are reminded to listen more deeply, to breathe more fully, and to rest in the steadiness that lives within.
November teaches us the beauty of simplicity and gratitude. As nature lets go of what is no longer needed, we too can release what weighs us down, making space for clarity and calm.
This month we are happy to welcome back our dear friend Emma Henry from London! Emma will be offering two Open XL on Friday, 14th and Saturday, 15th November. Don’t miss this chance to practice with one of the most inspiring teachers in the Jivamukti community!
Mark your calendars! In December we’ll be welcoming Conor Byrnes from Paris. He will be teaching two Open XL classes on Friday, December 5th, and Saturday, December 6th!
We are also excited to announce that Magali and Sophie will be leading a Yoga retreat in Cape Verde in January 2026. This retreat offers the perfect mix of relaxation and yoga practice, set in the serene surroundings of Spinguera Ecolodge . We invite you to join us for a week of deep rejuvenation, experiencing the tranquillity of nature, the comfort of the eco-friendly accommodations, and the holistic benefits of yoga. Details can be found in the newsletter!
May this month be an opportunity to reconnect—to yourself, to your community, and to the quiet strength that yoga awakens. Together, let us move through this season with presence, compassion, and grace.
Your presence continues to bring warmth, light, and meaning to all that we do.
With warmth and light,
Alexandra, Magali, and the JYL Team
