Should I rest or move when I’m in pain? 🤔It’s a common question — should you rest completely or stay active?
💡 In many cases, gentle movement is better than total rest.

🚶‍♂️ Light activity can:
• Reduce stiffness
• Support circulation
• Help maintain mobility
⚠️ On the other hand, prolonged inactivity may increase discomfort and slow down recovery.

👉 The key is finding the right balance — not too much, not too little.
If you’re unsure how much movement is appropriate, a physiotherapist at can guide you safely based on your condition.

⚽ ACL Rehab – Building Explosiveness 💥
As part of his return-to-sport progression, Loïc is moving into more dynamic and explosive training.

In this session, lunge jumps with a waterbag are used to develop:
🔥 Lower-body power
⚖️ Stability & control
🧠 Coordination

The instability of the waterbag challenges balance, forcing the athlete to control every movement — while the explosive jumps prepare him for the real demands of football.

👉 This is where rehab meets performance.
🚀 The goal: come back stronger, more resilient, and game-ready

– Set up your workspace to support your body 💻
Long hours at a desk can put stress on your neck, shoulders and back — but a few simple adjustments can make a big difference.

💡 Optimize your setup, improve your comfort.

Here are 3 easy tips:
1️⃣ Adjust your screen height
Keep your screen at eye level to maintain a neutral head position and avoid leaning forward.
2️⃣ Support your posture while sitting
Feet flat on the floor, back supported by your chair, and knees around hip level.
3️⃣ Keep tools within reach
Place your keyboard and mouse close so your elbows stay near your body and your shoulders remain relaxed.

✨ Small adjustments = better posture & less discomfort

– Change positions regularly during your day 🔄
Staying in the same position for long periods — whether sitting or standing — can lead to stiffness and muscle tension.

💡 The solution? Keep moving throughout your day. Changing positions keeps the body comfortable and mobile ✌️

Here are 3 simple habits to help:
1️⃣ Take regular breaks
Stand up, stretch or walk for a few minutes every 30–60 minutes to boost circulation and reduce stiffness.
2️⃣ Mix your positions
Alternate between sitting, standing and walking to avoid overloading the same muscles and joints throughout the day.
3️⃣ Add small movements
Shoulder rolls, gentle stretches or short walks can make a big difference in keeping your body mobile.

✨ Small daily changes = better comfort and mobility

What type of pain should worry me? 🤔🤷
Not all pain is dangerous or a cause for concern — but some signs shouldn’t be ignored.

🚩 Be cautious if your pain:
• Is sudden and very intense
• Keeps getting worse over time
• Comes with swelling
• Is associated with numbness or tingling
• Causes weakness or loss of function

👉 If your pain persists or starts to impact your daily activities, it’s time to get it checked.

💡 Early assessment can help identify the cause and guide the appropriate treatment.

Manual therapy before rehabilitation.

As part of her ACL return-to-sport rehabilitation, Charlie Bidinger (guard at AB Contern & FLBB) begins her session with manual therapy on the injured leg🦵

This step helps reduce stiffness, stimulate circulation and manage swelling before starting the rehabilitation exercises. Preparing the tissues first allows the athlete to move more freely, improve control and get the most out of the session 💪

At Kine MOES, each stage of rehabilitation is structured to support a safe and progressive return to sport.

– Reducing the Risk of Running Injuries 🏃
Running places repetitive load on muscles, tendons and joints. A structured approach can help reduce the risk of overuse injuries and support long-term consistency.

Here are three key considerations:
1️⃣Prepare your body: Start with a dynamic warm-up such as leg swings, controlled lunges or light jogging. This helps to increase circulation and prepares muscles for impact.

2️⃣Progress gradually: Avoid sudden increases in distance, pace or training frequency. Gradual progression allows the body to adapt safely over time.

3️⃣Pay attention to early signals: Persistent soreness, fatigue or changes in running form may indicate overload. Adjust training and Allow adequate recovery when needed.

💪Consistent preparation and recovery play an important role in staying active and injury-free.

❌ Pain is not always a sign that something is seriously wrong. In many cases, pain reflects increased sensitivity, overload or temporary irritation rather than structural damage.

The body can react to stress, fatigue or changes in activity levels.

However, if pain persists, worsens or limits your daily activities, it is important to have it assessed.

👉Understanding pain is an important step in rehab.
