Born and raised in Rishikesh, a Himalayan town notoriously famous with yoga addicts, teachers and practitioners and widely regarded as the birthplace of yoga, I was initiated into the practice at the age of 14. Since then I have been experimenting with various lineages of yoga constantly evolving myself and my practice. I am a RYT 200 with Yoga Alliance and certified in Core Hatha and Sivananda Yoga. My classes focus on building strength and flexibility through movement and boosting energy by aligning movement with conscious rythmic breathing. Every class includes the practice of Stillness (holding the poses) to promote a focus and mental calm. You leave feeling taller, relaxed and smiling.

It’s been a long break but this announcement warrants a comeback!
Spend 108 minutes with me this Sunday, 23rd of September for a 108 Sun salutation led class at in Kirchberg starting 10:00am.
The solstice and equinox mark the seasonal path of the sun which makes practicing 108 sun salutations at these points in the year so fitting.

We will use this autumn equinox as an opportunity to cleanse our bodies and minds with a practice that will strengthen us physically and mentally and allow us to set clear intentions for ourselves as we hit the reset button.
We will offer our gratitude to mother nature and the abundance that she provides for us in celebration of the changing of the seasons.

Inhale & Exhale with Pragya Kothari💨 ”PRANAYAMA Yogic Breathing Workshop” this SUNDAY April 15 17h00 - 18h30 (€30) Kirchberg 🌬✨📿 Pranayama is the practice of ancient yogic breathing techniques that consciously control the flow of breath, and enhance the flow of energy in the body. The word pranayama breaks down into two sanskrit words ‘pran’ referring to the life force and ‘ayama’ referring to the expansion. These words combined means the expansion or setting free of the vital energy within us. A regular and balanced pranayama practice increases prana (life force), thereby inviting greater mental clarity, awareness and stability. Accessing the close connection between the breath and the mind, pranayama serves as a tool to direct energy and quiet the mind. It is particularly helpful in the preparation for meditation 🧘🏽‍♀️ and can build lung capacity for a more profound asana practice! Reserve your mat: www.yogaloft.lu

Our Story

Born and raised in Rishikesh, a Himalayan town notoriously famous with yoga addicts, teachers and practitioners and widely regarded as the birthplace of yoga, Pragya was initiated into the practice at the age of 6 under the guidance of her guru Bhakti Yog ji Maharaj. Since then she has been experimenting with various lineages of yoga constantly evolving herself and her practice. She is a RYT 200 with Yoga Alliance, certified in Pranayama, Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga. Staying true to her curious nature, she is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Yoga to deepen her understanding of the practice. Pragya relies strongly on her own practice and intuition to guide her teaching. Her family, friends and fellow practitioners are critical to providing her insights and serve as a source of daily inspiration.

Pragya loves the practice of yoga for its ability to strengthen the mind and body but even more for its ability to cleanse it. She interprets the philosophy of yoga and breaks it down to actions that can be incorporated into one’s practice and life. Her alignment-based hatha-vinyasa style incorporates hands-on adjustments and structural awareness. Pragya’s classes are a lively mix of balance and bends aimed at improving strength and flexibility through the practice of asanas (postures); boosting energy and increase awareness through the practice of pranayama (breathing) and chanting.

Pragya’s mantra - Smile and Let go.
