Gents, let's make this simple. 📋

Here's your no-nonsense guide to cancer screenings:

🔵 COLORECTAL CANCER
→ Start screening at 50 (earlier if family history)
→ Stool tests or colonoscopy
→ Regular screening catches 90% of cases early!

🔵 PROSTATE CANCER
→ Chat with your doctor from age 50
→ PSA blood test + physical exam
→ Family history matters, know yours

🔵 SKIN CANCER
→ Check your skin regularly (yes, even that back mole)
→ See a dermatologist for anything suspicious
→ Sun protection isn't just for holidays!

🔵 TESTICULAR CANCER
→ Monthly self-exams from puberty
→ Most common in men aged 15-35
→ Quick check in the shower: takes 2 minutes

The point? Know your body. Catch things early. Don't put it off.

Men, we need to have a chat. 💙

Here's something that doesn't get talked about enough:

📊 1 in 2 men will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime
📊 Men are 40% more likely to die from cancer than women
📊 Men are 30% more likely to develop colorectal cancer than women

Not because men are weaker. But because (and let's be honest here) many of us are not great at:
→ Talking about how we feel
→ Noticing when something's wrong
→ Actually going to the doctor

Sound familiar?

The "tough it out" mentality? It's not serving us. In fact, it's costing lives.

This March, we're challenging that. We're saying:
✅ It's okay to check in with yourself
✅ It's okay to book that appointment
✅ It's okay to talk about your health

Real strength is knowing when to ask for help. Real mates check in on each other.

So here's your reminder: look after yourself.

Support comes in different shapes and sizes... 📸💜

Photographer Esteban Soteras showed us his support last year by capturing these moments and sharing them with us… and honestly, we’re a bit obsessed with the results.

Here’s the thing: support doesn’t always look like lacing up your trainers and joining us on the track (though we love that too!).
Sometimes it’s pointing a camera, sometimes it’s making a cuppa for a teammate, and sometimes it’s simply showing up.

Let’s talk about something that might feel a bit awkward, but could save your life. 💙

Colorectal cancer often develops without obvious symptoms at first. But when signs DO appear, it’s crucial to pay attention.

🔍 Watch for:
→ Changes in bowel habits (diarrhoea, constipation, or narrowing of stool lasting more than a few days)
→ Blood in your stool (bright red or very dark)
→ Persistent abdominal discomfort (cramps, gas, pain)
→ Feeling that your bowel doesn’t empty completely
→ Unexplained weight loss
→ Weakness or fatigue

Now, here’s the thing: these symptoms can be caused by many conditions, not just cancer.
But that’s exactly why you should get them checked. Better to know, right?

Your body talks to you. Listen to it. And if something feels off, please speak to a healthcare professional.

A solidarity futsal tournament organised by the brilliant students of Lycée Mathias Adam!

Here’s the deal:
→ 5-a-side futsal matches (10 mins each)
→ Company teams, community teams, and an ALGSO team of cancer warriors playing together
