Peer volunteers play a vital role in HIV prevention, testing, treatment, and care at the grassroots level. On 30 December 2025, AHF Myanmar’s Operations Manager met with peer volunteers at AHF office to review activities conducted in 2025 and to develop plans for 2026.
The meeting also addressed challenges faced during implementation and discussed strategies to strengthen outreach efforts, with a focus on reaching deeper into key affected populations.

အများဆုံးဖြစ်ပွါးတတ်သည်မှာ ရင်းနှီးကျွမ်းဝင်သောလက်တွဲဖော်မှ အကြမ်းဖက်မှုနှင့် ကလေးများနှင့် မိန်းကလေးငယ်များအပေါ် ကျူးလွန်သည့် လိင်ပိုင်းဆိုင်ရာ အကြမ်းဖက်မှုများ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။

ကျား မ အခြေပြု အကြမ်းဖက်မှု ကျူးလွန်သူများမှာ မိသားစုဝင်များ၊ ရင်းနှီးကျွမ်းဝင်သော လက်တွဲဖော် ၊ သိကျွမ်းသူ၊ သူစိမ်းစသည်ဖြင့် အမျိုးမျိုး ဖြစ်နိုင်၍ အိမ်၊ အလုပ်နေရာ၊ ကျောင်း၊ လမ်း၊ အကျဉ်းထောင်၊ ကျန်းမာရေးဌာန အပါအဝင် နေရာမျိုးစုံတွင် ဖြစ်ပွါးနိုင်သည့်အပြင် အကြမ်းဖက်သည့်ပုံစံများမှာလည်း များစွာကွဲပြားနိုင်ပါသည်။

World AIDS Day 2025

Treatment as Prevention.
AHF Myanmar organized WAD event at Mingaladon Specialist Hospital partner site on 5 December 2025 to share ART knowledge among PLH. Taking ART regularly and systematically cause the virus undetectable in the blood and prevent spreading of infection to others.
Undetectable = Untransmittable

After the health education talk, rice bags were distributed to the PLHs as part of the Food For Health program.

World AIDS Day 2025

Improving awareness and knowledge is a key component of HIV prevention. In commemoration of WAD 2025, AHF Myanmar organized an event with HIV /AIDS knowledge sharing,entertainment and online HIV related knowledge assessment quiz at Yangon University of Education on 4 December 2025. Participants were the students ( would- be-teachers) from the university and over 500 students interestedly participated in the online assessment test by using their mobile phones. Students who got highest scores were honored with prizes.
