🧠💪 Numbers That Matter for a Healthier You

🧠💙 CHCC Public Health Services hosted successful community outreaches at Han Nam Market, LJ Store, and Joeten Superstore on Jan. 8, 14 and 31, 2026. Over 40 community members took part in free blood pressure, blood sugar screenings and flu and COVID vaccinations—empowering them to know their numbers, understand their risks, and take steps toward a healthier life.

This initiative is part of our ongoing mission to increase public knowledge of hypertension, diabetes and the importance of vaccination by bringing essential health services directly to the community.

🚨 As we enter February, we also recognize National Cancer Prevention Month and American Heart Month—a reminder that knowing your numbers and making healthy lifestyle choices can reduce your risk for cancer, heart disease, and more.

We’re committed to meeting the community where they are, providing:
- Free blood pressure & sugar checks to help you monitor your health
- Vaccinations to keep you and your loved ones protected
- Health education & support for better lifestyle management
- Wellness resources to promote healthier living across the CNMI

Together, we’re building a healthier community—one screening at a time. 💪

In recognition of American Heart Month, the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation encourages our community to participate in Wear Red Fridays throughout the month of February. By wearing red each Friday, we can help raise awareness about heart disease and show support for heart health across the Commonwealth.

Observed every February, American Heart Month serves as a national reminder to focus on cardiovascular health and the prevention of heart disease and stroke. The observance encourages individuals and communities to adopt heart-healthy habits, understand personal risk factors, and promote awareness through education and outreach.

This initiative also highlights National Wear Red Day on February 6, which brings attention to cardiovascular disease prevention and education. Community participation helps promote awareness and supports CHCC’s commitment to improving the health and well-being of the people we serve.

Thank you for helping raise awareness and supporting heart health in our community. We look forward to seeing everyone wear red in support of this important cause!

February is American Heart Health Month 💙

February marks American Heart Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness about heart health and the importance of preventing and managing cardiovascular disease. At Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation (CHCC), this month serves as an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to providing comprehensive, high-quality cardiac care for our community.

CHCC proudly highlights the work of Cardiologist Dr. Peter Gregor and his dedicated cardiology team, whose collective expertise, collaboration, and compassionate care play a vital role in diagnosing, treating, and managing heart conditions across the Commonwealth. Together, Dr. Gregor and his team work diligently to ensure patients receive thorough evaluations, personalized treatment plans, and continuous support throughout their heart health journey, from prevention and early detection to advanced cardiac care.

Heart disease remains one of the leading health concerns worldwide, making education, routine screenings, and access to specialized care more important than ever. During American Heart Month, CHCC encourages the community to prioritize heart-healthy habits, stay informed about cardiovascular risks, and seek regular medical care when needed.

Through the leadership of Dr. Gregor and the unwavering dedication of his team, CHCC remains committed to strengthening the heart health of our community today and for generations to come.
