Hello, I am a 30-year-old unmarried guy. I just want to share my current situation in life. I am currently jobless. I completed my master’s abroad and returned to India, but I don’t have a job right now, although I am managing to earn something somehow.

Now, my parents are looking for marriage proposals for me, but I already have a girlfriend who is ready to marry me. However, her family is financially very weak, and they completely depend on her. They will not be able to support us in any way if we get married.

She is currently living abroad and will return to India in 3–4 months, but she will also be jobless after coming back. Considering the high cost of living in India, I don’t feel ready for marriage right now. I want to be financially stable first, so that after marriage I can take care of her without money-related tensions.

What should I do?
