As a child I vividly remember both my grandmothers making use of home remedies by using natural items such as plants and herbs. I was always in awe of them and always had a keen interest on the subject. Back in 2008, I was diagnosed with Cancer. After undergoing treatment, I managed to beat it. It was no walk in the park and to this day I still have to live with the repercussions of those same treatments that cured me from Cancer. However, no experience, no matter how traumatic, is in vain. It was during this time that I realized what a stressful life I was leading. This was my wake up call. So I decided to go back to my roots, back to the days where medicine was based on natural and holistic remedies. I started attending courses and my passion and knowledge about the subject grew stronger and stronger. I love to share what I know. I love to spread my knowledge because knowing that I can help someone who may be going through a difficult time gives me a sense of peace. There are so many things that can be achieved with the use of herbs, essential oils, reiki and energy healing. They can be used as an alternative or as complimentary to modern medicine but most importantly, they should be used as a preventive measure to becoming sick in the first place. Holistic therapy is the path to self-love and self-care.

I heard many versions but black pepper is by far the best option for activating curcumin.
I use lots of cayenne in my recipes because cayenne is very good for the blood circulation apart from many other health benefits.
