SRM is the principal non-profit organization in Malta representing all local medical radiographers.

The SRM has always worked hard to pursue its mission statement: to promote and advance the radiography and radiotherapy profession in Malta through continuous education, specialisation and networking. The SRM has always held the best interests of local radiographers at heart and over the years the SRM has participated in national and international discussions and debates to ensure that the radiography profession is safeguarded and to encourage further development within the profession itself.

🧠 SRM Trivia Night ⁉️

We would like to thank everyone who attended 👏

Congratulations to the winners who received the coveted trophies 👏🏆

Congratulations also to Dr Deborah Mizzi who found the Golden Ticket in a pair of limited edition SRM socks, which entitles her to a free registration for this year’s SRM Conference 🔑

During the event, donations were made to the Right2Smile foundation for an upcoming trip to Kenya, should one still wish to donate you can contact Prof Frank Zarb 🙏

We would like to also highlight the work of our trivia master Mr Stuart Camilleri for the great work done 🧙‍♂️

Marco Calleja represented the Society of Medical Radiographers in Brussels on the 26th of March 2026, at the concluding conference of the SD4EU project, “Social Dialogue and Gender Equality in the World of Work.”

The conference brought together key stakeholders to explore how stronger social dialogue can drive meaningful progress in gender equality. Discussions focused on closing the gender pay gap, recognising gender equality as a catalyst for competitiveness, sustainability, and economic growth, and strengthening European social dialogue frameworks.

Every year, the SRM sponsors one lucky member’s registration for the European Congress of Radiology. Here are some words from last year’s winner, Ms Melanie Mifsud, about her experience at this year's congress.

As always, the SRM is committed to encouraging further professional development. We are therefore pleased to announce that we will once again be sponsoring the registration fee for one member to attend ECR 2027, which will be held between 3rd and 7th March 2027.
