Krypton Pharmacy is proud to introduce Dr. Lara Sammut, a distinguished obstetric and gynaecological sonographer. With a wealth of clinical, academic and research experience in women’s ultrasound. She brings specialised expertise in both pregnancy and gynaecological imaging to our community, ensuring the highest standard of diagnostic care.

Dr Sammut holds a PhD in early pregnancy ultrasound and is a lecturer and programme coordinator at the University of Malta, where she is involved in the teaching and training of postgraduate ultrasound students. Alongside her clinical and teaching roles, she is actively engaged in research and regularly presents at national and international women’s health conferences.

She has also contributed expert input to national consultation processes on miscarriage leave, offering a clinical and evidence-based perspective. Her approach to practice is grounded in accuracy, compassion, and clear communication, ensuring patients feel informed, supported, and reassured throughout their scan.
