VJ Salomone Consumer Lines Ltd is seeking to recruit Full-Time Store Helper / Picker to join its current team.

The selected candidate will report directly to the Stores Manager, and the main responsibilities shall include the picking of merchandise according to pick-lists in a timely and professional manner, the preparation of client orders, loading and unloading of merchandise, and carrying out stock movements within the warehouse.

Although not mandatory, preference shall be given to candidates having the following requisites:

• Ability to speak, read and write in both Maltese and English;
• Willing to learn and possess a can-do attitude;
• Pick merchandise in a timely manner so that deliveries are
prepared on time;
• Assist in receiving and checking all goods received;
• Ensure proper arrangement of all inventory stock items to
facilitate product identification, picking and supply;
• Assist in maintaining all store areas to the highest corporate
safety and hygiene standards;
• Assist in store inventory and stock taking upon request;
• Assisting during loading of merchandise;
• Assist the Store Keeper in all necessary stock movements
especially when required to make necessary space for arrival
of goods;
• May be required to accompany delivery-person/s to assist
during unloading at client premises.

LOGISTICS EXECUTIVE.

Reporting directly to the Accountant, the primary function of the Employee will be to plan and manage logistics, and to coordinate full order cycles, ensuring that merchandise arrives safely, in good order and on time. Main duties and responsibilities include the following:

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage all important documents such as advanced shipping notice; pick slips, bills of lading, AWB's, reports container temperature readings etc,
- Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing and other managers to optimize processes,
- Open claims with Supplier/Local Insurance provider when stock is damaged,
- Liaise with the various departments on a daily basis,
- Prepare payments for freight forwarders,
- Process documents through Customs when applicable,
- Use the Company's information system and other suitable systems to track, check, prioritize and route orders,
- Resolve issues regarding shipped orders,
- Ensure compliance to legal regulations and company policies,
- Report to management on activities and issues,

Requirements:
- Be fluent in both verbal and written Maltese and English,
- Be trustworthy, and polite,
- Be organized and efficient,
- Be computer literate and proficient in the use of Excel, Word and other office applications,
- Possess excellent communication skills,
- Possess a positive can do attitude, enthusiasm and an ability to work on own initiative and under pressure,
- Basic knowledge in Accounts and a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role will be considered an asset.

ICT EXECUTIVE

to join its ICT Department. The selected candidate shall report directly to the ICT Manager.

Responsibilities will include:
- Providing support to office staff
- Installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading company systems.
- Other related tasks such as support & implementation on ERPs & other integrated applications.

This position calls for an effective team player, with a can do attitude, having the ability to meet the exigencies of the team and possess excellent problem solving & communication skills.

Applicants are required to :
- Be qualified in IT at certificate / diploma level.
- Have a good background and knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.

BRAND MANAGER/S

Reporting directly to the Executive Manager, the ideal candidate/s must possesses extensive knowledge within the luxury, beauty, cosmetics, and skin care industry.

Main Responsibilities shall include although not limited to:

- Management for the assigned portfolio of brands allocated to the role.
- Working together with Global brand owners to develop strategic opportunities to grow the brands and build brand awareness.
- Development of the marketing plan, budget and implement the relevant marketing activities including public relations (PR), customer relationship management (CRM), sales tools, visual merchandising, and promotional sites. Ultimately, owning the brand's annual marketing, driving sales and ensuring the ex*****on of the plan with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ensure strong brand presence in retail accounts, work on retailer planograms, maximize brand experience, driving key strategic sampling and promotional activation opportunities.
- Be the guardian of brand visual presentation in-store, liaising with Global brand owners to ensure brand guidelines and visual standards are being implemented in store.
- Build relationships with Global Brand owners and report activity, plans and ROIs on activity on a monthly and ad-hoc basis.
- Achieve sales goals while delivering the highest levels of client service.
- Develop client base with in-depth and consistent follow up protocols.

Requirements:

- Willingness to learn, training provided.
- Minimum 5 years experience working withing the beauty industry.
- Extensive knowledge vis-a-vis cosmetics, perfumes, skincare products and their application and beauty in general.
- Passion for working with people and a passion to work within the beauty industry.
- A degree in Marketing or related field.
- Fluent in both Maltese and English.
- A smart outgoing personality, with a can do attitude.
- Motivated and hard-working.
- Computer literate and highly proficient in the use of MS Office applications.
