We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Live-In Carer to provide high-quality care and support for individuals living in their own home in Malta or Gozo. The successful candidate will help maintain the clientโs comfort, dignity, independence, and overall wellbeing while living on-site and providing daily assistance. This role is ideal for someone deeply committed to working with the elderly and who understands the importance of patience, empathy, and respect in providing care. Please note that only candidates with a valid work permit or right to work in Malta can be considered.
๐๐ฒ๐ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ฝ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐:
โข Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
โข Support with medication reminders and basic health monitoring.
โข Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
โข Perform light housekeeping duties (laundry, cleaning, tidying common areas).
โข Offer companionship and emotional support.
โข Accompany the client to appointments, walks, or social activities when needed.
โข Maintain detailed daily records of care and report any health or wellbeing concerns to family or supervisors.
โข Respect the clientโs privacy, cultural values, and preferences at all times.
๐ฅ๐ฒ๐พ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐:
โข Previous experience as a live-in carer, home carer, or similar role.
โข Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Maltese is an asset).
โข Empathetic, patient, and trustworthy personality.
โข Physically fit and able to assist with mobility and light household tasks.
โข Basic knowledge of elderly care, dementia care, or disability support (training provided if needed).
โข Valid ID and right to work in Malta (applications without this cannot be considered).
โข Willingness to live on-site with flexible working hours.
