Happy Women’s Day to all extraordinary female occupational therapist colleagues around the world. According to the World Federation of Occupational Therapists Human Project 2024, it is estimated that 80% of Occupational Therapists worldwide are women.

Interestingly, in Malta, this estimate is higher at around 89%. This is based on the OT Mapping exercise carried out by our association in 2024.

MAOT would like to thank all female occupational therapists whose dedication, professionalism, and positive attitudes impact so many clients’ lives and the work environments they work in.

Happy Women’s Day🌹

Dear colleagues,

The Malta Association of Occupational Therapy would like to thank everyone who came to celebrate Cynthia’s Appreciation Day with us.

Your presence, the lively conversations, reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones, and the wonderful enthusiasm you brought truly made this event extra special, not only for us as the organising committee, but most importantly for Cynthia, our guest of honour.

We are grateful to have shared such a memorable occasion together.

On behalf of the profession, we would like to thank Cynthia for her sterling work, unwavering dedication, and the lasting legacy she leaves behind for the OT profession.

Stay tuned! 📸 Photos from the event will soon be posted on our Facebook and Instagram pages.

Thank you once again for being part of this special celebration.

🎉 Celebrating 41 Years of MAOT! 💚

For over four decades, MAOT has been founded on dedication, unity, and a shared commitment to excellence. As we celebrate this 41st milestone, we reflect not only on our accomplishments but also on the strength of the community behind them.

We stand together, through both easy and difficult times, to celebrate successes and overcome challenges, united as one.
