After four incredible days, the WFOT 2026 Congress has come to an end. During this time, we listened, learned, discussed, networked, and—most importantly—celebrated each other’s work. The Congress brought together 2,444 Occupational Therapy students, clinicians, researchers, and educators, from 91 different countries under one roof—truly reflecting the strength and diversity of our global profession.

As a delegate and participant, I hold immense respect for the WFOT Executive Committee and Scientific Committee for organising such an outstanding event. Special appreciation goes to the Thailand Occupational Therapy Association and to all the dedicated volunteers whose efforts made this Congress possible.

A heartfelt thank you to our Executive Director, Richard Ledgerd, for his professionalism, leadership, and unwavering dedication to the organisation.

I would also like to acknowledge the outgoing WFOT President and friend, Samantha Shann, for her outstanding contributions in uniting, expanding, and leading this global organisation forward.

With warm hearts, we wish the newly elected WFOT President, Tecla Mlambo, every success as she begins her four-year term.

After three busy days, the WFOT Council Meeting has come to a close. Three fantastic days of discussion, learning, and progress — with most agenda items successfully approved. Respect and collaboration truly shone through, reflecting the diversity we all bring.

Thank you to the outgoing WFOT Board for an outstanding job, and best wishes to the new Board members. Special appreciation to our outgoing President, Samantha Shann, for her years of dedicated service and leadership. Samantha’s ability to connect with people and support others has truly moved the organisation forward.

Tomorrow, WFOT Congress officially kicks off. Best of luck to the organisers and to all participants!

The MAOT Committee would like to warmly thank everyone who joined us for yesterday’s Music Bingo event. It was wonderful to see such a good turnout and to enjoy such a fun, relaxed atmosphere together. We hope this event and many more to come will continue to bring us closer as a community.

REHABILITY is a set of interactive medical training games, empowering patients to improve their motor, cognitive, and functional abilities across various care settings, including private homes, nursing facilities, and rehabilitation centers.

A presentation on REHABILITY will be held on the 9th of March online as part of our AGM sessions.

A set of cognitive and physical games motivate neurological patients to adhere to the therapy, while progress is monitored constantly, even remotely (telerehabilitation).
