Earlier this month we had a great meeting with Malta Association for Neurologists and Neurosurgeons .

We discussed the possibility of them supporting us by appointing a medical adviser as outlined in our statute. It was a positive and constructive meeting, full of ideas and we are excited about the potential to work more closely together. 🌟

Dr. Nicola Dingli, President of MANNS, is proudly representing Malta alongside other leaders from Europe’s National Neurological Societies during Health Week. Together, they have signed the Brussels Neurology Declaration, committing to advance brain health and strengthen neurology across Europe.

Today, the Malta Association for Neurology and Neurosurgeons joins the global community in recognizing International Epilepsy Day. This day serves as a crucial opportunity to raise awareness about epilepsy, its impact, and the importance of support for those affected.

On November 22, 2025, the Malta Association of Neurology National Society (MANNS) hosted a Stroke Congress at Mater Dei Hospital. The event welcomed both local and foreign experts in the field, providing an opportunity for shared insights and discussions on stroke care.

The Honorable Minister Jo-Etienne Abela, who has played a significant role in improving stroke care in Malta, opened the congress with a speech highlighting the importance of this work.

We were pleased with the great turnout and thank all participants for joining us. We hope everyone found the congress informative and valuable.
