The aim of this page is to offer parents and parents-to-be support and information starting from the day of conception following through pregnancy, labour, childbirth and childrearing. As an association we aim to offer such support and information through our various courses, talks and events organised by midwives. Services offered by the MMA:

First aid for babies and children session is conducted by Emergency Nurse Vincienne Micallef B.Sc. at our premises in Msida.

This session is also very informative and helpful for grandparents and nannies, and hence are welcome to apply!

4 hands-on sessions, conducted by Ms. Denise Holmes, an infant massage instructor/midwife, designed for newborns, up to 1 year of age.

All you need is a changing mat and towel, whilst notes and oils will be provided for.

Do you have a planned Caesarean birth? This four-session course is designed to help expectant parents feel informed, prepared, and supported.

Throughout the sessions, we will discuss what to expect before, during, and after a Caesarean section, while also covering important aspects of antenatal preparation and postnatal care for both mother and baby. There will also be time for discussion and questions in a supportive and welcoming environment.
