🇲🇹 Twissija dwar il-kesħa – Malta ❄️
Il-kundizzjonijiet kesħin u ħarxa li qed jaffettwaw partijiet minn Malta, jistgħu iżidu r-riskju ta’ waqgħat u mard ikkawżat mill-kesħa. L-anzjani u nies vulnerabbli għandhom riskju ogħla li jbatu minn temperatura baxxa perikoluża tal-ġisem.
Għalhekk qed inħeġġu li Żur lil persuni anzjani 🧓👵 aktar ta' spiss f'dawn il-ġranet:
🏠 Żomm id-djar tagħhom sħan kemm jista jkun,
🧣 Ħeġġeġ ilbies li jsaħħan u xorb sħun
⚠️ Jekk persuna taqa' u tqatta' ħafna ħin fl-art, tista’ twassal għal temperatura baxxa perikoluża tal-ġisem.
📞 Jekk taħseb li persuna qed tbati minn temperatura baxxa tal-ġisem ċempel is-servizz tal-emerġenza 112.
Oqgħod attent, ibqa’ sigur, u ħudu ħsieb xulxin.

🇬🇧 Cold Weather Advisory – Malta
Adverse cold weather conditions are currently affecting parts of Malta, increasing the risk of slips, falls, and cold-related illness. There is no need for freezing temperatures for a dangerously low body temperature to occur, particularly among elderly and vulnerable persons.
🧓👵 Please check on elderly relatives and neighbours regularly:
🏠 Keep homes adequately warm
🧣 Encourage warm clothing and hot drinks
⚠️ A simple fall, especially if a person remains on the ground for some time, can lead to a dangerously low body temperature.
📞🚑 If a low body temperature or serious injury is suspected, CALL 112 immediately.
Stay alert, stay safe, and look out for one another.
