People often see a cream and think it’s just a cream...
But real skincare starts long before it reaches a jar 🤍

All my formulas begin with plants, herbs gently infused into oils, or extracted without alcohol to preserve their natural goodness.
Other herbs are distilled, creating two beautiful elements:
• Essential oil - the potent concentrated essence of the plant.
• Hydrosol - the soft, aromatic water of the plant, carrying its soothing, skin-loving properties.

From there, these botanical extracts are carefully blended with natural ingredients and plant-derived emulsifiers, like the one I use which is made from olives. This allows oil and water to come together in harmony.

A gentle, skin-safe natural preservative is added to keep everything fresh and safe - without compromising the integrity of the formula.

No shortcuts.
No harsh synthetics.

✨ Before Tea Shop Malta, there was a tiny dream without a proper name ✨

These were the very first tea blends I ever made, back in 2019.
Not for business.
Not for money.
But for family, for friends… from the herbs we grow in our own Maltese fields.

I remember packing these little boxes at home, not knowing if anyone would even want them. And then something incredible happened, they sold out in minutes and I had to make some more.

People kept asking for more. They told me, “You have to keep doing this.”
That tiny, homemade idea bloomed into what today is Tea Shop Malta.

A business still run from home. The process has improved greatly with more equipment and better preservation methods yet it is still made by hand. Still made from our local herbs. Still powered by the same love and belief in what Malta grows.

But the dream was always bigger.
My dream has always been to open a small shop on our fields. A place where people can visit, see where the herbs grow, breathe the countryside air, and even create their own personalised tea blends straight from the source.
A place that truly connects people to Maltese land, Maltese herbs, and Maltese remedies.

We applied.
We waited.
We followed every procedure.

And for years now, permits have been stuck due to road access issues raised by Transport Malta on the main road in Siġġiewi. Something that feels so small on paper yet has kept such a big dream on hold.

So for now, Tea Shop Malta continues from home. Growing , expanding, reaching more homes across Malta - while this little dream waits patiently in the background.

Maybe one day, you won’t just order our teas…
Maybe one day, you’ll walk through our fields and make your own.

And when that happens, you’ll know it all started here 💚
