AX Group Annual Report 2025 Highlights: AX Care

AX Care continued to strengthen its resident centred environment during the past financial year, with a strong focus on engagement, wellbeing and community life. Read the full AX Group Annual Report: https://brnw.ch/21x0Ga1

Resident engagement remained central across Hilltop Gardens and Simblija Care Home. A structured calendar of activities and seasonal events provided day and evening programming throughout the year, while organised outings and excursions across Malta encouraged residents to remain socially active and connected to the wider community.

Preventative health initiatives also progressed during the year. A weekly Falls Prevention Programme was introduced at Revive Physio and Aquatic Centre, offering seniors practical strategies to reduce fall risk, improve mobility and maintain independence.

Operational improvements also supported the continued development of care standards. Governance was strengthened through the appointment of a new Head of Care, while the introduction of the KC Care digital platform improved communication across departments and ensured that critical information is accessible in real time, supporting a more responsive approach to care delivery.

As AX Care approaches its tenth year of operations in Malta, the division remains committed to supporting dignity, independence and quality of life for residents and their families.

Our team came together to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month wearing our pink badges, enjoying cupcakes, and forming the Pink October ribbon together! 🎀

We also held an awareness talk on breast and prostate cancer, highlighting the importance of early detection for both men and women. 💪

A perfect day out at Ta’ Qali 🌼
Our Hilltop Gardens and Simblija Care Home residents spent a lovely morning at the Adventure Park, enjoying a walk in nature, a game of bingo and some well-loved treats - ftira, cheesecakes and a warm cup of tea. With a gentle breeze and flowers all around, it was the kind of outing everyone hopes to do again soon! 💛
