What a long summer! 🫩

Most summer must have been fun ⛱️😎 but don't we all need a break, as parents 😌???

As Parents, we often feel drained and we keep going for our kids, even when we are sleepy 🥱 sick 🤒 or in pain 😣, true??

HOWEVER it is crucially important not to forget who you are in the process of being a parent
.. I have often found myself not knowing where I want to go on the weekends or what I wish to do on my birthday 🎂
.. as I instantly think of my kids first,
..is this how it is supposed to be?

👩‍✈The air hostesses always tell us to put on your oxygen mask first before your child's because, in a real emergency, you will quickly lose the ability to think and function if you run out of oxygen
... THE SAME GOES WITH YOUR LEVEL OF ENERGY 🪫 WHILE YOU ARE PARENTING
.. So let's stop for 2 hours together to discover what we can do to take care of ourselves this scholastic year

We had the opportunity to attend a training session with Konstantinos Rizos from Nurturing Hearts and Minds, where he shared his research on error correction procedures in ABA.
Error correction helps children learn from mistakes by guiding them to the right answer in a positive, supportive way. It’s a key part of teaching new skills effectively.
A valuable deep dive into strategies for skill acquisition in autistic students, thank you, Konstantinos!
