Dr Bernice Sant - Performance, Sport and Exercise Psychologist Have you ever wondered what it's like to reach your full potential in your performance? Psychology is Both of them are important in a performer’s life.

Everybody knows something about Sports, Performing Arts: Singing/Acting/DJing/Dancing/Art, Military Training, Business, Surgery, Political, among other performances. However, very few people know how much dedication, persistence, hard work, resilience, grit, determination and many other attributes are needed to reach peak performances. Apart from that there needs to be a distinction between reaching peak performance and maintaining peak performance. However, one of them will get you there and the other will give you a life-long career success. There needs to be more awareness on how much 'behind-the-scenes' work a performance entails in order to allow a performer to reach his/her peak/excellent performance and maintain it! Performance Psychology can help through:

1) Enhance performance through specific psychological techniques.
2) Cope with the pressures of competition (before, during and after competition).
3) Recover from injuries in a more efficient way.
4) Keep up with an exercise program.
