Welcome to my page. I am delighted that you are interested in my work. My name is Christina Borg Saydon and my passion is beauty. Being a beauty therapist is my dream come true. I hold ITEC (International Therapy Examination Council) qualifications not only as a Beauty Specialist, but also in Holistic Massages, Facial Electrical Treatments, Diet and Nutrition, Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Epilation (Electrolysis). I am also certified in Indian Head massage, IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) hair removal, Gel nails, Threading and Specialise in Babor and Dr. Babor Facials. After successfully graduating from MCAST and attending Nefertiti Beauty Academy, I immediately went to work at Le Grande Spa Excelsior 5 star Hotel. Here I gained a lot of experience for two years, after which I continued to work from Aroma Beauty Clinic in Rabat. Here I found an even fuller job satisfaction. I believe that this has been critical to my success. What I do is not just work, it is my passion. My clients are not just clients, they are friends and family to me, and I know most of them personally through years of conversation. My salon is simple and small but warm and cosy. It offers a welcoming environment where the only thing that matters is you. You will feel pampered, peaceful, relaxed and in safe hands. Professional services I offer: - Facial treatments for every skin type. I mainly use Babor (brand) products and also use Gerards (brand) for the shorter facials and incorporate aromatherapy as well. They are free from harmful chemicals and artificial ingredients and I believe this to be a cornerstone to good practice. - Eyelash and eyebrow tinting. - Eyebrow tidying and shaping with wax or tweezers. - Waxing, IPL hair removal and Electrolysis offered as well. - Spa Manicures, Foot Rituals and Spa Pedicures. I offer the option to add gel nail polish application on hands and/or feet. I do not offer nail extensions or nail art. - Slimming Treatments available as well. I currently use G5 and Slender tone (Faradic) machines. Personally, I do not like working with complicated machines, and in light of this, I prefer Anti-cellulite and Lymph drainage massages done manually. However, these machine based slimming treatments can sometimes provide just the stimulus necessary to see the results one seeks. I make use of various aromatherapy oils, Lemongrass, Cypress, Grapefruit and Fennel just to name a few. For you to get the best results with these slimming treatments, I offer advice about diet and nutrition. I also give home care advice regarding product and aromatherapy blends which you can use at home. I believe information to be crucial to make a lasting difference in someones life. My passion is beauty, and beauty is more than just outward appearance. As such, even though I am not qualified or certified in personal training, what I am is very passionate about aspects of beauty as health and fitness. I can show you some simple and effective toning/ weight loss /stretching exercises that you can do without any equipment. Just a mat, a chair, a towel and water. If someone goes to the gym I can also give my opinion of what he/she should do for his/her body type. Around the island there are also many excellent training classes . I will be more than happy to recommend someone. - Massages. Hot stone massage, Swedish massage, Aromatherapy massage and Candle oil massage. You can choose if you would like to do a 30 minute, 60 minute or 90 minute treatment. All of these can be done in a relaxing or therapeutic way (this is decided based on the person, so as to help with things such as muscular aches and pains, stiff joints or arthritis, sinuses, headaches and more). - Make up is also available for all occasions. I do not work on Sundays or Public holidays but if you have a request do contact me to check availability. Note that my approach to makeup application is not an extravagant one. What I do more often is opt for a natural look, but at the end my duty is to my client, and the decision falls to them. Gift vouchers are also available and these can be redeemed for both treatments or products. As regards semi permanent makeup, I am not personally qualified, however I can recommend someone very good for this upon request. Thank you for your kind attention.
