Bare English Lip Balms - Malta

Bare English Lip Balms - Malta Tea Infused, Organic and Vegan Lip Balms. Available in over 10 different and exciting flavours. What's in our balm? Sure, Bare English & Co.

Tea Infused Lip Balms might be the coolest organic balm on the market but that would be nothing to brag about if we didn’t have a sweet product to back it up. All our ingredients are certified organic and perfectly proportioned to create one amazing lip balm! Candelilla Wax
Candelilla Wax is wax that comes from the leaves and stems of the candelilla plant. In our opinion, candelilla wax creates a smoother balm that moisturizes without leaving a waxy coating on your lips. Since it is plant based our product is completely vegan. Jojoba Oil
Jojoba Oil is a natural moisturizer that is easily absorbed and friendly to even the most sensitive of skins. This is because the chemical composition of jojoba oil is very similar to our skins own natural sebum (a fat produced by our bodies that coats and moisturizes the skin). It contains vitamin E, B complex vitamins, minerals: silicon, chromium, copper and zinc and is very rich in iodine. It also possesses antimicrobial properties meaning it actually fights the growth of bacteria. Almond Oil
Almond Oil is a rich source of vitamin E. It posses antioxidants and anti-aging properties as well as the ability to regulate the pH of the skin. Cocoa Butter
Cocoa Butter is the ultimate moisturizer! It is one of the most stable and highly concentrated natural fats on earth allowing it to moisturize, retain moisture and create a barrier to protect the skin from harsh environments. Vitamin E
Vitamin E is known as one of the most healing and effective antioxidants in the skincare industry, it protects the skin from everyday environmental exposure and damage. Coconut Oil
Coconut Oil is a rejuvenating moisturizer on every type of skin. It effectively treats almost all skin conditions and delays the aging process. If that wasn’t enough, it is also jam packed with antioxidants. Olive Oil
Olive Oil is extremely rich in antioxidants and slows the natural aging process. It enriches the skin and gives it a natural shine and a healthy glow. Castor Oil
Castor Oil is a natural emollient that penetrates deep into skin and helps stimulate the production of collagen and elastin.

It’s official, scientists at Manchester University used eye-tracking software to show that in the ten seconds after meeting a woman for the first time, the average chap will spend more than half that time looking at her mouth. So if you want to make an impression at a Christmas party, go get your lips prepped for the season. Exfoliate gently with a toothbrush and moisturise with Bare English Lip Balms. Then use your favourite colour to enhance the luscious pout and pucker up!

Did you know that lips lack natural protective oil? No sweat glands and no oil equates to vulnerability. This implies that lips are highly exposed to cold, wind and sun. The only way to protect lips is... yep you guessed... to use a lip balm. No better lip balm than Bare English, with no harmful chemicals.

Matte lipsticks can be extremely drying, which is what helps these lipsticks stay put for so long. That's why you should use them sparingly when your lips are extremely chapped. Alternate use with hydrating lipsticks, ie those that have ingredients like vitamin E or add a layer of Bare English lip balm underneath. This will ensure your lips get all the moisture they need.

Tip of the day, and what a gorgeous day it is. Stop the lip smacking habit. Licking your lips damages the protective barrier, which drys out the lips. Your saliva contains digestive enzymes that can break down this barrier. Instead, regularly apply a good lip balm like Bare English.

About 90% of new cases of skin cancer reported each year are sun related. Your lips are one of the most vulnerable parts of your body. Because they are practically always exposed to the sun.Young lips are even more defenseless.
Lips have a very thin layer of skin - much thinner than other parts of the body and very little melanin, the pigment that helps protect against the sun. Lips can burn easily though they hardly ever tan. The sun can also impact the collagen in your lips. Collagen is the protein which gives your lips their oomph and stops wrinkles forming on and around your lips. Too much sun can cause early aging and inner damage you may not even see. So protect your lips with a good SPF, over 15 and apply Bare English Lip Balm as a replenishing, moisturising after sun.
