🚑 Malta Red Cross is recruiting Emergency Medical Responders
Full-Time & Part-Time | Paid Role

As an Emergency Medical Responder, you’ll be part of our operational teams delivering first aid, basic life support, and emergency response at events and in real-life emergencies — including ambulance support when required.
This is a paid position with a competitive salary, full training provided, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact in the community.
🔍 Role Overview
- Provide prompt first aid and basic life support
- Assist with patient stabilisation and preparation for safe transport
- Respond to events and emergency situations
- Communicate effectively with the Control Room, team members, and healthcare staff
- Maintain high safety and operational standards
- Complete required documentation accurately
- Participate in trainings, drills, and team operations
✅ Requirements
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and assisting patients
- Able to remain calm and perform under pressure
- Valid driving licence and confident, safe driver
- Professional and respectful attitude when dealing with patients and the public
- Willingness to learn, follow protocols, and work as part of a team
- Good level of spoken English
Preferred (but not essential):
- Previous experience in first aid or emergency response
- Experience driving vans or larger vehicles
- Any medical or first aid training
