Tomorrow marks the beginning of another scholastic year, my 13th year of teaching, my 8th year as a counsellor and my 16th year as a University student 😅.

I have to admit that I still feel excited as if it’s the very first one.

I’m excited to welcome new students, to continue seeing students grow and flourish and to strengthen friendships at work.
To all those students feeling nervous about tomorrow, know that you are not alone, everyone will be feeling that way (teachers included).

Try to be the one that offers a kind smile to those around you maybe it will be the start of a beautiful friendship or it will be just a kind smile to a nervous person who really needed a friendly face.
