It is widely practised throughout the UK and the rest of Europe. An estimated 30,000 patients see an Osteopath in the UK every day (source: General Osteopathic Council website http://www.osteopathy.org.uk/)

Osteopathy may be helpful with disorders of the musculoskeletal system such as neck pain and back pain, chronic repetitive strain injuries, certain sports injuries, sciatic pain and many others. Osteopathy is a holistic system where it takes into consideration all aspects of the person's health. A thorough history is taken on first assessment and a plan of treatment is discussed with the patient. Treatment may include joint manipulation, soft tissue mobilisation and stretching and myofascial release techniques. An Osteopath typically trains at graduate level for a minimum of 4 years and is highly trained in differential diagnosis, meaning that it is safe to visit an Osteopath without a Doctor's referral. Keeping your GP updated about your health is however always recommended. Osteopaths and Physiotherapists are registered with the Council for Professions Complementary to Medicine (CPCM). Our Story

Founded in 2012, Osteopathy Malta is the first osteopathy and complementary health clinic on the islands.

Our main focus is osteopathy, but we also offer other services — regular pilates classes, reflexology, massage therapy, foot scans and more — designed to help you heal as quickly as possible, manage chronic conditions more effectively and make sure you feel your best.

Because nothing beats the feeling we get when we see our patients make a full recovery, reclaim their health and enjoy their life to the fullest.
