𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬!
Do you feel your child isn’t very excited about math?
Maybe it’s because math often seems boring or disconnected from the real world — but what if we showed them that everything in existence is math?
From the hexagonal patterns of honeycombs to the spirals of snail shells, from snowflakes and plankton to flowers and DNA molecules, geometry is everywhere! We could even say that math is the language of creation — the design code of the universe.
In this unique and creative course 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟐𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫, I invite children to explore and get excited about the 5 Platonic Solids through hands-on art and geometry.
Step by step, students will build, draw, and explore these shapes, discovering where they appear in nature, art, and cultures around the world.
𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐞’𝐥𝐥 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞:
𝐓𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐧 – 4 triangles, 5 vertices, 6 edges
𝐂𝐮𝐛𝐞 – 6 squares, 8 vertices, 12 edges
𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐚𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐧 – 8 triangles, 6 vertices, 12 edges
𝐈𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐧 – 20 triangles, 12 vertices, 30 edges
𝐃𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐧 – 12 pentagons, 20 vertices, 30 edges
𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐭𝐨:
✅Use a compass and ruler to create 2D versions of shapes
✅Build 3D paper models of each solid
✅Sculpt 3D versions using 3D pens
✅Naturally understand mathematical ideas like symmetry, angles, patterns, and spatial reasoning
By the end of the course, each child will proudly create their own 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧’𝐬 𝐂𝐮𝐛𝐞 masterpiece, made up of all five Platonic Solids — and most importantly, they’ll discover that math can be creative, meaningful, and fun!
