We are proud to announce a year-long collaboration between Ascencia and Made in Moris in 2026.

Throughout the year, our malls will host a series of “Made in Moris en Fête” activations celebrating Mauritian know-how, local entrepreneurship and the diversity of brands carrying the Made in Moris label.

As places of daily connection welcoming thousands of visitors, our malls are natural platforms to give greater visibility to local producers and SMEs, while encouraging more conscious local consumption.

The first edition will take place at Bagatelle Mall on 28 March 2026, marking the beginning of this meaningful partnership.

Last Wednesday, we marked an important milestone with the groundbreaking of Mall de Flacq.

As our first new mall development since 2019, this project represents an exciting new chapter for Ascencia and for the East.

Developed in partnership with Alteo, it reflects a shared commitment to supporting growth and opportunity in the region.

We were privileged to welcome Hon. Anil Bachoo and Hon. Ajay Guness, alongside our partners and stakeholders, for this special occasion.

This Saturday 21 February, two of our colleagues and one of our trainees will take part in the Northern Pirates Touch Festival, a friendly touch rugby tournament celebrating teamwork, energy and community spirit.

SOS Children’s Villages Mauritius!

Tablettes, kits de peinture, cahiers, sacs et fournitures scolaires ont été remis à 26 jeunes de 6 à 17 ans, issus de Curepipe et Bambous, pour les accompagner dans leur rentrée.

Nature of Business

Ascencia Ltd (‘The Group’) is a public company incorporated in Mauritius in 2007 and listed on the Development & Enterprise Market (‘DEM’) of the Stock Exchange of Mauritius (‘SEM’). The Group is guided by good corporate governance practices. Its principal activity is to acquire, invest and hold investments in real estate primarily located in Mauritius. In line with this rationale, Ascencia actively manages its portfolio of properties through regular acquisitions and disposals so as to optimise shareholder returns.

The profits of the Group are subject to a corporate tax of 15%. Dividends paid to the shareholders of the Group are not liable to tax. In addition, disinvestment from the Group’s shares is not liable to land transfer tax, as is the case when disposing of actual properties held. Similarly, investors are not liable to registration duties when dealing with the shares of the Group.
