🌙😴 Beyond Sleep: What Corporate Wellness Really Needs to Wake Up To
Lately, I’ve been speaking to companies about sleep, but what we’re really talking about is the state of our nervous systems.
We explored how sleep sits at the base of human needs, as vital as food & water.
Yet most professionals today are trying to rest inside bodies that don’t feel safe enough to stop.
When we dug into their sleep data, a pattern appeared:
🧠 “I can’t switch off my mind.”
📱 88% used screens late at night.
☕ 50% felt unfocused or fatigued during the day.
But the real question wasn’t “How do I fix my sleep?”
It was, “Why can’t I rest in the first place?”
That’s the truth most corporate wellness programs miss.
Sleep struggles are signals, not problems to solve.
They’re how the body says: “Something deeper needs your attention.”

Je suis tellement dans la gratitude de faire ce que je fais, de vivre ma mission, d’exercer ce qui me passionne, ce qui me nourrit et maintient mon âme en pétillance.
Chaque rencontre, chaque séance, chaque échange est un rappel que je suis exactement là où je dois être.
Je ressens une profonde reconnaissance et une immense humilité envers les familles et les personnes qui m’ouvrent leur cœur, la porte de leur maison, et me laissent entrevoir les zones les plus sombres, les plus fragiles et les plus douloureuses de leur parcours de vie.
Elles me partagent leur vérité, leur combat, leurs doutes et leurs espoirs — sans filtres, avec une vulnérabilité et une authenticité qui me touchent profondément.
Et puis, il y a ces instants suspendus...
Ce moment où une âme s’apaise,
où un corps se détend,
où une lueur revient dans le regard,
où une vérité s’intègre enfin,
où une conscience s’éveille doucement.
Ces moments-là me rappellent pourquoi je fais ce métier.
Parce qu’au-delà des mots, des techniques ou des outils, c’est la présence qui guérit.
C’est l’espace de sécurité, d’écoute et de vérité qui permet à la vie de circuler à nouveau.
Je me sens honorée d’être témoin de ces transformations silencieuses, parfois visibles, parfois simplement ressenties.
C’est un privilège d’accompagner ces âmes courageuses vers plus de paix, de confiance et de reconnexion à elles-mêmes.
Et à chaque fois, je me rappelle : je ne “fais” pas, je tiens l’espace.
Je marche à leurs côtés, avec douceur, respect et gratitude infinie.

“When the World Feels Too Bright”
This morning, I sat by the window, eyes half-closed against the sunlight.
It wasn’t painful exactly, just too much.
You know that feeling? When the world’s light feels like it’s shouting?
For me, amongst others, it’s eye sensitivity. For someone else, it might be sound, smell or touch.
But the message underneath is the same:
Your body is speaking.
For years, I treated these moments as weakness, another thing to “fix.”
I’d push through the glare, the noise, the overstimulation.
Until I couldn’t anymore.
Now, I treat them as invitations, to soften, to slow, to listen.
When my eyes ache, I ask: "What part of me is craving rest?"
When the light feels too sharp, I seek shade or my sunglassed, not out of avoidance, but out of care.
Sensitivity isn’t fragility.
It’s data.
It’s wisdom.
It’s your nervous system whispering, “Please, go gently.”
Maybe today, that means dimming the lights, breathing deeper or just closing your eyes for a moment longer.
You’re not broken for needing softness.
You’re beautifully wired to notice what others miss.

🦋 Les enfants vivent leurs émotions dans leur corps avant de pouvoir les comprendre.
Et parfois, leur corps réagit de façon similaire à la peur et à l’excitation: le cœur bat vite, les yeux s’ouvrent grands, le corps s’éveille.
💡 Pourquoi ils confondent :
– Les réactions corporelles sont proches.
– Leur cerveau n’est pas encore capable de différencier ou de nommer clairement.
– Ils ont besoin d’adultes pour mettre des mots et du sens sur ce qu’ils ressentent.
🎃👻 À Halloween (ou dans tout moment fort en émotions), leur système nerveux peut se retrouver saturé.
Une journée pleine de rires et de frissons peut, le soir venu, devenir difficile à “redescendre”.
💛 Et c’est là que la douceur compte le plus.
* Observer sans juger.
* Questionner sans chercher à corriger.
* Accompagner sans minimiser.

And awareness starts with understanding, not judgment.
🌿 A diagnosis doesn’t define a child. It explains their world.
It helps parents shift from “What’s wrong?” to “How can I help?”
🦓 ADHD isn’t about laziness or lack of focus, it’s about regulation.
Emotion, energy, attention… all moving faster than most people see.
Behind the behaviour is a nervous system trying its best to keep up.
When we understand what’s really happening, we respond with compassion, not control.
✨ We build structure that feels safe (not strict).
✨ We praise effort (not just outcome).
