POSTNATAL MASSAGE

A postnatal massage is basically a full body massage after delivery. Typically, a traditional or professionally trained masseuse massages your entire body starting from the feet and ending with a relaxing massage for the head. Even traditional ayurveda recommends a 40-day confinement period for the mother after delivery, where wholesome care is provided to the mother and child. Traditional baths with indigenous herbs and natural remedies preceded by elaborate massages are an important part of this routine.

Lumbar spinal stenosis is one of the major causes of pain and numbness in the back and legs. Lumbar spinal stenosis is a narrowing of the spinal canal in the lower part of your back. Stenosis, which means narrowing, can cause pressure on your spinal cord or the nerves that go from your spinal cord to your muscles. Your spinal cord is a bundle of nerves that runs through a tunnel formed by your vertebrae.

Spinal stenosis can happen in any part of your spine but is most common in the lower back. This part of your spine is called your lumbar area. Five lumbar vertebrae connect your upper spine to your pelvis.

If you have lumbar spinal stenosis, you may have trouble walking distances or find that you need to lean forward to relieve pressure on your lower back. You may also have pain or numbness in your legs. In more severe cases, you may have difficulty controlling your bowel and bladder.

Early lumbar spinal stenosis may have no symptoms. In most people, symptoms develop gradually over time. Symptoms may include:

* Pain in the back
* Burning pain going into the buttocks and down into the legs (sciatica)
* Numbness, tingling, cramping, or weakness in the legs
* Loss of sensation in the feet
* A weakness in a foot that causes the foot to slap down when walking ("foot drop")
* Loss of sexual ability

BELL PALSY TREATMENT
Bell's palsy is a condition that causes sudden weakness in the muscles on one side of the face. In most cases, the weakness is temporary and significantly improves over weeks. The weakness makes half of the face appear to droop. Smiles are one-sided, and the eye on the affected side resists closing
Bell's palsy is an unexplained episode of facial muscle weakness or paralysis; the paralysis causes distortion of the face and interferes with normal functions, such as closing the eye, eating and drinking. It begins suddenly and worsens over 48 hours. This condition results from damage to the facial nerve (the 7th cranial nerve). Pain and discomfort usually occur on one side of the face or head. Bell's palsy can strike anyone at any age.

Bell's palsy is not considered permanent, but in rare cases, it does not disappear. Recovery usually begins 2 weeks to 6 months from the onset of the symptoms. Most people with Bell's palsy recover full facial strength and expression.

Bell's palsy is sometimes associated with the following:

* Diabetes
* High blood pressure
* Injury
* Toxins
* Lyme disease
* Multiple sclerosis
* Infection, especially following a viral infection with Herpes simplex virus (a virus that is related to the cause of the common "cold sores" of the mouth)

CUPPING THERAPY
Cupping is an alternative therapy that uses suction cups to stimulate your skin and muscles. It can be done on your face or body. The suction promotes increased blood circulation, which may help relieve muscle tension, promote cell repair, and aid in other regeneration.

Cupping therapy can affect the body up to four inches into the tissues, causing the tissues to release toxins, activate the lymphatic system, clear colon blockages, activate and clear the veins, arteries and capillaries, activate the skin, clear stretch marks, and improve the appearance of varicose veins.

It can also loosen muscles, encourage blood flow, and sedate the nervous system (which makes it an excellent treatment for high blood pressure). Cupping is generally recommended for the treatment of:

Back and neck Pains
Stiff muscles
Paralysis
Gastrointestinal disorders
Lung diseases (especially chronic cough and asthma)
Anxiety
Fatigue
Migraines
Rheumatism.

These harmless marks will slowly fade before disappearing completely after approximately 1 week depending on the skin’s regenerative ability. After regular cupping treatments, you will find that the marks will visibly become lighter and lighter

Light pink: Fade within a few minutes to an hour.
Dark red: Fade between 3 days to a week (up to 2 weeks if it is an old injury).

BACK PAIN MASSAGE THERAPY
Massage is an excellent, non-invasive way to relieve back tension and the pain associated with it. Massage Therapy for back pain can also be a very helpful relaxation technique because it releases endorphins, which create feelings of euphoria and happiness in the brain.

Common conditions leading to back pain include (but are not limited to):

Degenerated disc
Bulging or herniated disc
Spinal stenosis
Spondylolisthesis (slipped disc)
Spinal scoliosis
Arthritis
Muscle strain
Muscle spasm
Pinched nerves

REFLEXOLOGY THERAPY
What is reflexology?
In reflexology, pressure is applied to specific reflex points on the foot. These points correspond to organs and areas of the body. The treatment is said to induce a healing response, even alleviating some ailments.

Reflexology is one of the most popular types of massage. Beyond the feel-good effects of the treatment, the practice and purpose go deeper than the skin and muscles. Kneading the soft fleshy ball of the foot, pulling on the toes, tracing around the heel and pushing deep into the arch are just a few of the movements you’ll experience during a treatment.

INFERTILITY TREATMENT.

For many women and men, infertility may be a result of an imbalance, whether caused by hormones or stress. Acupuncture and Reflexology trigger poins are about restoring balance and overall health and wellbeing. It involves the insertion of very thin, sterile needles into strategic points in your body, called acupuncture points. Stimulating these points, or pathways, is believed to correct any imbalance in energy, or chi. Studies have shown that acupuncture and reflexology trigger points can help:

Regulate the menstrual cycle
Balance hormones
Improve blood flow to the reproductive organs
Improve s***m count and motility
Decrease risk of miscarriage
Reduce stress and anxiety
Improve the chance of pregnancy in women undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF)
There’s also evidence that acupuncture can help with some medical conditions that affect fertility, such as polycystic o***y syndrome, endometriosis and fibroids. But the biggest benefit may be its effect on stress and anxiety.
