🌿 SCIENTIFIC APPROACHES
1. Calm the Nervous System
When fear, stress, or anger strikes, your nervous system overreacts.
You can calm it through:
Deep breathing: Slowly inhale through the nose (4 seconds), hold (4 seconds), exhale through the mouth (6 seconds).
Physical grounding: Feel your feet on the ground, notice your surroundings — this brings your brain back to the present.
Stretching or walking: Movement releases built-up stress hormones.
2. Release the Hormones Naturally
To counteract cortisol and adrenaline:
Exercise (even light walking) releases endorphins that reduce pain and stress.
Sunlight boosts serotonin and improves mood.
Sleep resets stress hormone levels.
Healthy diet (more fruits, veggies, omega-3, less sugar) stabilizes mood chemicals.
3. Reframe Your Thoughts
Write or talk about your worries — this moves emotions from the emotional brain to the thinking brain, reducing intensity.
Practice gratitude journaling — writing 3 things you’re thankful for daily lowers stress and increases happiness.
4. Social and Emotional Connection
Talking to someone you trust (friend, counselor, or family) activates the body’s calming systems.
Crying when grieving isn’t weakness — it’s the body’s way to release built-up stress hormones..........................
😇Trusting Allah removes the burden of control from your heart.
When you truly believe Allah is in charge, fear turns into peace.
Prophet ﷺ said Allah will suffice whoever recites:
"Hasbiyallāhu lā ilāha illā Huwa, ‘alayhi tawakkaltu wa Huwa Rabbul-‘Arshil-‘Aẓīm"
(7 times morning and evening )
