🚑 First Aid Training for Custodial Police Officers 🚑

We successfully conducted a First Aid Training Program for custodial police officers, with the active participation of 20 officers. The session focused on essential life-saving skills, emergency response, and quick decision-making in critical situations.

In addition, a brainstorming and information session was held on the Maldives 25by30 NCD Campaign, highlighting:

Major non-communicable disease (NCD) risk factors
Practical prevention strategies
The important role of early action and healthy choices in reducing NCD-related deaths

The program encouraged open discussion, knowledge sharing, and a stronger commitment to safeguarding both public health and officer wellbeing.

👏 We appreciate the enthusiastic participation and dedication of all officers involved in making this session meaningful and impactful.

A meaningful premarital counselling sessions ware held, focusing on the foundations of a healthy and happy married life. Key discussions included personal and home cleanliness, sexual health, mental well-being, conflict resolution, family planning, and adopting a healthy lifestyle.

Special emphasis was given to preparing for pregnancy, the husband’s shared responsibility in maternal and family health, and the critical importance of the first 1,000 days of life in shaping a child’s future health and development.

An engaging coffee table session was held in Shaviyani Bilehfahi, bringing participants together to discuss the growing impact of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in the Maldives and practical ways to tackle them.

The discussion focused on healthy nutrition, lifestyle changes, and effective, sustainable weight loss, encouraging informed choices for long-term well-being.

30 participants came together in Shaviyani Bilehfahi for a meaningful mental health awareness session. The session focused on understanding emotional well-being, breaking stigma, and encouraging open conversations about mental health.
