National certification means that the trainers have demonstrated that have enough practical and theoretical knowledge on anatomy, physiology and kinesiology to train other individuals. Certification requires continuing education so that the trainers stay up-to-date with the most current updates and information on health and fitness. One of the big advantages to personal training is that the “personal” factor. Your 2FITrainers will design a program specifically for you and your goals. Sure, you can get a program from the internet or an exercise DVD, but is it the right one for you? Are your needs being met and your questions answered? Is it going to change when you need it to? Most likely not—and some programs can actually cause more harm than good. By using a personal trainer you will get better results, faster….PLUS you have your own cheerleader, friend, and coach. It’s extremely common in a gym to see people using improper technique and poor form. Not only is this wasting your time but it can lead to undesirable results (such as muscle imbalance)and possibly injury. By training with a professional, you ensure that you’re doing your exercises properly, and getting the best results with none of the injuries. Fun:
One of the most common reasons for people stopping exercise is BOREDOM. How many people do you know or see at the gym who are doing mindless cardio on an elliptical machine while reading a magazine? It is unlikely that such people are getting much out of their workouts, or having fun. You must enjoy working out.
