The 2025/2026 Public Universities Selection Applications season is upon us!

First on the table are the application orientation sessions, scheduled for this upcoming week between Monday 8th December and Saturday 13th December, 2025.

Prospective candidates, parents and guardians, check out the schedule for venues, dates and timings and plan to attend the one nearest to where you are to learn about the application process.

Disclaimer: while attendance is free, NCHE will not provide transport to and from the venue.

Over the past three years, the School of Life Sciences and Allied Health Professions (SLAHP) has celebrated an exceptional achievement, with ten academic staff members earning their PhDs in various disciplines.

The Executive Dean, Associate Professor Arox Kamng’ona extends his congratulations to the team, applauding their achievements and describing the progress as a significant milestone for SLAHP and the university as a whole.

We are saddened to announce the passing of one of our students who was yet to graduate after recently completing her studies in MBBS.

Phalyce who died on 22nd October 2025 will be laid to rest today, 23rd October 2025 in Dedza.

We extend our sincere condolences to the bereaved family, friends and everyone who knew her.

May Phalyce Mkaka’s soul rest in peace.
