En la industria alimentaria, garantizar la inocuidad no es solo un requisito regulatorio, es una responsabilidad ética y una ventaja competitiva. Dos de los marcos más relevantes para establecer sistemas de gestión de inocuidad son ISO 22000 y FSSC 22000. Aunque suelen mencionarse juntas, existen diferencias clave que las empresas deben considerar al seleccionar la certificación adecuada.

¿Qué es ISO 22000?
La ISO 22000 es una norma internacional que establece los requisitos para un Sistema de Gestión de Inocuidad Alimentaria (FSMS). Es aplicable a cualquier organización dentro de la cadena alimentaria y se enfoca en:

· Identificación y control de peligros
· Implementación de Buenas Prácticas de Manufactura (BPM)
