La transición alimentaria ...................y el estado de salud................no siempre van de la mano.

Hard to imagine, but the Hadzabe still hunt & kill zebra (using poison arrows). This guy killed a zebra two days ago - fed 30+ people for 3 days. That is, they gorged on zebra meat. Collected samples before, during and after. Will be interesting to see how this perturbation (protein & fat spike + reduction in carbs) impacted the gut microbiota - if at all - on the short term.
