When I zoomed right in on this flower, I could see everything… the delicate lines, the softness of the petals, the way the light poured through it and made it almost translucent.
It wasn’t trying to be beautiful.
It wasn’t competing.
It was simply open.
And because it was open, the light moved through it… and that’s what made it glow.
I’ve learnt in my own life that when I stop bracing, stop performing, stop trying to control how I’m seen and just soften… something shifts. The light gets in. The real radiance shows up.
We don’t need to force our brilliance.
We just need to open.

Healing isn’t about fixing yourself or becoming someone different — it’s about gently letting go of all that made you forget you were whole from the very beginning.
Nothing is missing.
Nothing was ever broken.
Only layers… waiting to soften, to fall away, to return you home to yourself.

This is is 59.
It’s not polished.
It’s not filtered.
And it’s definitely not always graceful.
Sometimes it looks like sitting in the quiet with a broken heart… trying to make sense of things you never imagined would happen.
This season has been one of the hardest of my life.
The heartbreak of betrayal from a long-lost cousin, someone I waited a lifetime to find.. has cut deeply. There are no words for the kind of pain that comes when trust is shattered by family. It shakes you to your core.
And then, as life so often does, it asked my heart to hold even more…
Our sweet little Lily Pad, tiny friend, our love, comfort through so many chapters… left this world.
The silence she leaves behind is extremely loud.
But this is also 59…
It is knowing that I don’t need to rush my healing.
It is allowing myself to feel everything… the anger, the sadness, the disappointment, the betrayal, the grief, and the love that still lives underneath it all.
At this stage of my life, I no longer pretend that pain doesn’t exist.
I sit with it. I breathe through it. I let it move through my body the same way I teach others to do.
Because this is what a real, lived-in life looks like.
A heart that has been cracked open… and still chooses to stay open.
Grief has a way of deepening us.
Betrayal has a way of strengthening our boundaries.
And love… love never truly leaves.
It simply changes form.
Sweet Lily Pad, you will forever walk in our hearts 🐾

𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲
A couple of open spots are available for this intimate 6-week breathwork journey.
If you’re curious about how something as simple, and as powerful as your breath can transform your health, energy, and emotional wellbeing, this series was created for you.
We begin gently, learning the science of breath and how it affects the nervous system, the mind, and the body. Each week we build step by step... starting with simple, practical techniques you can use in daily life to feel calmer, clearer, and more vital.
As trust and capacity grow, we move into deeper practices, including Holotropic-style breathwork ~ a profound experience that can open the door to deep healing, insight, and the body’s own natural release of DMT.
𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤-𝐢𝐧, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐨𝐮𝐭… a space to slow down, reconnect, and remember the intelligence already within you.
If you feel even a little curious… 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧.
Curiosity is one of the greatest gifts we can bring to our practice.
It’s what keeps us growing, exploring, and discovering what is possible... not just in the body, but in the mind and spirit too.
I often see that it’s not age or ability that stops progress… it’s the moment we think we already know. When we believe we’ve reached the limit, we stop listening, we stop feeling, and we stop exploring.
But when we stay curious ~ when we approach each posture with openness instead of expectation... something beautiful happens. The nervous system softens, the mind creates new pathways, and we begin to see and feel things we never noticed before.
This is how we stay young in our practice.
Not by forcing… but by remaining curious.
If you feel called to explore movement in this way, I invite you to join me. My classes are a work-in, not a workout ~ a space where we slow down, feel deeply, move with intention, and reconnect from the inside out.
Always a student. Always exploring.

There’s a very special moment in a sound journey when the Kenari chime begins to sing. Its tone is so pure, so delicate, that you can almost feel the nervous system exhale.
The Kenari chime originates from Southeast Asia, where similar tonal instruments have long been used in ceremonial and meditative settings to mark transitions - from activity into stillness, from the outer world into the inner one.
Its high, shimmering frequencies gently stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, the part of us responsible for rest, repair, and safety. When these tones ripple through the space, brainwaves naturally begin to slow, breath deepens, and the body softens its protective armor.
This is why you’ll often notice a collective settling in the room when it is played… shoulders drop, jaws unclench, and minds release their grip.
Sound is not just something we hear.. it is something we feel.
And sometimes, a single note is enough to remind the body that it is safe to let go.

There are nights when the veil feels thin… when the fire in the sky mirrors the fire within.
My Ring of Fire New Moon journey was one of those sacred portals — a circle of brave hearts gathering to surrender, soften, and remember. Held by the medicine, guided by sound, and witnessed in deep presence, each person traveled exactly where their soul needed to go.
This work humbles me every time. To sit in service, to hold the container, and to watch the nervous system unwind, the armor melt, and truth rise to the surface… it is something words can never fully capture.
The medicine does not give us what we want — it gives us what we are ready to see. And when we trust that… transformation begins.
So much gratitude for those who said yes to the call.

There is something so intimate and sacred about a private sound session.
Recently I had the honor of holding space for a group of beautiful soul in a journey, using my crystal singing bowls to gently guide them into a place of deep release, stillness, and inner connection. In these private containers, the work becomes very personal… we move at the rhythm of the nervous system, allowing whatever needs to surface to do so safely and without pressure.
Sound has a way of reaching places that words simply cannot. It softens the mind, unwinds the body, and opens a doorway back to the heart. Watching someone drop from tension into peace is always a quiet miracle to witness.
This is why I love what I do… creating a space where people can simply let go, be held, and remember their own inner harmony.

Even though my heart is broken, I move forward with grace.
I am learning that strength doesn’t always look like holding everything together… sometimes it looks like letting the tears come, feeling the disappointment fully, and still choosing to take the next step.
Life has a way of humbling us, of reminding us that we are not in control of everything we hoped would unfold a certain way. And when those moments come, when the ground feels unsteady beneath our feet, we are invited into a deeper practice of surrender.
So I return to what has always held me.
The breath.
The sound of the ocean.
The quiet wisdom of nature.
I let the sea breeze move through me, cleansing my spirit, softening the tight places in my heart, and carrying away what I no longer need to hold.
This is how I heal.
Not by hardening… but by staying open.
Not by resisting… but by allowing grace to meet me exactly where I am.
And so, with disappointment in heart and steady steps, I keep moving forward.

Valentine’s Day, held in the language of vibration.
I had the honour of facilitating a Sound Journey at the Four Seasons… an afternoon devoted not to noise, but to presence… to slowing down enough to actually feel into the heart space.
True luxury is not what we own.
It is the ability to rest deeply in the moment, to soften the nervous system, and to reconnect with the quiet intelligence within.
Sound has a way of dissolving the walls we don’t even realize we’re holding.
And in that space… love naturally rises.
Grateful to share this work in such a beautiful setting.
If you’d like to bring a private Sound Journey to your retreat, celebration, or gathering, my DMs are open.

My name is Deborah Regan. I invite you to become part of my journey...
In 2003, I traveled from Australia to Canada to expand my knowledge and experience in meditation and yoga. I participated in a 6-month, eyes closed, meditation and yoga retreat known as Mastery of Self with the Ishaya Monks.
After completing the intensive program, I stayed on for a further two months and completed my meditation teacher training in beautiful British Columbia.
For the next 6 years, I traveled all over the world, as a monk, sharing in and leading and sharing meditation/yoga weekend classes, retreats and workshops.
Being an Entrepreneur
Yoga, meditation and travel are great but people have to make a living, right? (That’s what I thought anyway.)
So, in 2009, I came back to Canada, became a permanent resident, and started a small business: nail artistry. I set up shop in Kelowna, BC. I did that full-time for 10 years.
My body sends a Message
If you are here because your body has given you a “wake up call”, I totally understand.
Early in 2019, I woke up one morning and could not pick up anything in my right hand. It had seized up and was very painful.
After numerous specialist appointments, they found that the ulnar nerve (in my arm) was damaged. Why? It was a severe, repetitive strain injury caused by sitting at my nail station desk and continually working on nails. It’s the same type of injury that people get from too much work on the computer.
