From our drafting boards to on site! — We’re excited to show a glimpse of a special project we’ve been working on—out in Mexico’s wine country. We’ve walked the site, read the terrain, pushed back against the obvious responses, stripping things down to what actually matters. We argued with it. Let it resist. Let it tell us what it wanted to be—instead of forcing something polite onto it. — For now, this is just a fragment—but it carries the weight of the whole process. Stay tuned, more to come

From our drafting boards to on site! — We’re excited to show a glimpse of a special project we’ve been working on—out in Mexico’s wine country.

We walked the site, read the terrain, pushed back against the obvious responses and stripped things down to what actually matters. We argued with it. Let it resist. Let it tell us what it wanted to be—instead of forcing something polite onto it.

For now, this is just a fragment—but it carries the weight of the whole process. Stay tuned, more to come

As MASS OPERATIONS turns 10, A decade of sweat, dust, and concrete. We reflect:

Casa Pedregal arrives with our tenth anniversary— it is a new design echelon. In our early years, we explored the Concrete Box, shaping and molding it until we had to break it.

Pedregal is that breaking point. A culmination of our efforts to move beyond the box—where the roof stops being a roof and becomes a wing.
