CORONAVIRUS (Covid-19) Y MEDICINA HIPERBÁRICA:
Es importante señalar que el oxígeno hiperbárico no es un tratamiento para curar el contagio del virus, pero sí para algunas de sus consecuencias más graves en pacientes que lo contrajeron y ya hayan resultado negativos en pruebas posteriores.
El oxígeno hiperbárico ha probado en varios casos clínicos que puede revertir importantes problemas respiratorios, que son una de las principales causas de fallecimientos, ya que genera mayor eficiencia respiratoria, reduce la presión hacia el personal tratante y el riesgo de infección, además de disminuir la tasa de mortalidad en pacientes críticos.
En los casos estudiados, después de las primeras sesiones la dificultad para respirar y el dolor de pecho se redujeron notablemente. Algunos especialistas han concluido que el oxígeno hiperbárico resulta mejor que un ventilador por el mayor índice de oxigenación que proporciona y por disminuir la inflamación.

We have received many calls to our office asking about if the hyperbaric medicine cure the coronavirus Covid-19. It is importan to point out that the hyperbaric oxygen is not a tratment to cure the virus infection, but works very well in some of their worst consecuences in patients already negative after posterior tests.
Hyperbaric oxigen has proved in several cases that can revert important breathing problems, which are one of the main causes of deaths generating a much efficient breathing, decrease the risk to the medical staff and the risk of infection and the death rate in critical patients.
In the examined cases, after the first few sessions, the difficulty of breathing and chest pain were significantly reduced. Some of the specialists concluded that the hyperbaric oxygen is much better that ventilators because of the greater oxygenation index that the patient receives and the decrease of swelling.
