🐎 Introducing Regina Tapia,
Equine Therapist and Instructor Sonora, Mexico

Healing Frontline Heroes is proud to welcome Regina Araiza Tapia and Centro Ecuestre Regina Tapia as the Director and Instructor of the our Equine Healing Programs in Sonora, Mexico.

Regina brings more than 20 years of experience working with horses, combining traditional horsemanship with structured equine-assisted therapy practices that support emotional healing, trauma recovery, and personal transformation.

She holds multiple certifications in Equine Therapy and Natural Horsemanship, including:
• Certification in Terapias Ecuestres – Modelo OPPAC
• Training in Hippotherapy and Equine Assisted Therapy
• Instructor certifications through Terapias Ecuestres México
• Natural horsemanship training in Doma Natural
Her training includes programs registered with Mexico’s Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión Social, and she has participated in clinics and certifications across Sonora focused on the therapeutic relationship between humans and horses.

But beyond the certifications, Regina’s true gift is her relationship with the horses themselves.

Horses are incredibly intuitive animals.

They mirror human emotions and help participants reconnect with presence, trust, and balance.

Through guided interaction and grounding exercises, equine work has proven powerful in supporting people working through:
• PTSD
• trauma recovery
• emotional regulation
• anxiety and stress
• rebuilding trust and confidence

As one of the few women operating an equestrian therapy center in Sonora, Regina has dedicated her life to creating safe spaces where horses and people can heal together.

Her work will be a core part of the Healing Frontline Heroes programs in Sonora, supporting veterans, first responders, athletes, and individuals seeking deeper personal transformation.
We are honored to have her as part of the team.

Rite of Passage Sonora
Bufo Facilitator Training and Ceremonial Leadership Course

Rite of Passage Sonora is an advanced leadership training designed exclusively for experienced Bufo facilitators and current medicine carriers committed to elevating ethical standards, refining safety protocols, and strengthening global collaboration.

This is not a beginner program.

It is for those already serving who understand the responsibility of holding ceremonial space.

The training includes structured online preparation followed by a 10-day in-person immersion in Sonora, Mexico.

Cohort I
Online Preparation: June 29 – July 17
10-Day In-Person Immersion: July 18 – July 28

Cohort II
Online Preparation: August 3 – August 21
10-Day In-Person Immersion: August 22 – August 31

Cohort III
Online Preparation: August 31 – September 18
10-Day In-Person Immersion: September 19 – September 28

Each cohort is limited to 10 participants to ensure depth, mentorship, and accountability.

Training Focus
Participants will:
Study ethical harvesting principles and ecological stewardship of Bufo Alvarius
Deepen relationship to land, desert tradition, and cultural context
Strengthen screening, contraindications, and crisis response protocols
Refine ceremony structure and leadership presence
Practice role rotation (observer, support, space holder, facilitator)

Exchange best practices with international medicine carriers
Expand integration frameworks and supporting modalities
Reinforce trauma-informed facilitation and participant care
The goal is not expansion it is elevation.

"When the World Defends a Lie"

There’s a rhythm to deception.
It always comes dressed as righteousness “freedom,” “democracy,” “the war on drugs", etc..

And every generation forgets the last time they were sold the same script.

📆 2002: The U.S. backed a coup in Venezuela after President Hugo Chávez began nationalizing oil and redirecting wealth to his people.

📆 2003: Focus shifted to Iraq — justified by false claims of “weapons of mass destruction.”

Different stage.

Same playbook.

Now the narrative returns: “Venezuela equals threat, drugs, instability.”

But those who remember know that resource control is always wrapped in moral language.

When the world defends a lie, truth-tellers are labeled extremists.

Remember COVID

When profit and agendas hides behind patriotism, ordinary people pay the price.

So what do you do?

Well, we just keep naming the pattern and keep creating what’s real healing spaces, conscious communities, and pathways of remembrance.

The more of us who see clearly, the weaker the illusion becomes!
